Simon's game looks so effortless, he seems to use less energy than the others when he hits the ball, he changes the pace and direction of the ball very well too.
Underrated talent and good player when he plays well.
Watching a match like this you I find myself wishing that the Federer or 2004-2007 would materialize; that Fed would have eaten this guy for breakfast and I just hope that winning the last two GS will resurrect that confidence, movement and agression.
haha, even my eng r not so good like you, i dont care, so far, im happy with my life, i can speak to other people even not in english, so wat is ur the problem?
Yeah Simon isn't an amazingly talented player compared to some of the others. But he's really worked hard to maximize what he has and stays in there no matter what the situation is. Props to him for keeping his head up and fighting despite a pretty solid first set from Federer.
it's a roundrobin, so i guess federer shouldn't worry about it. He will make it! Simon on the other hand, i don't think he can keep up this consistent form
Simon reminds me of a new generation of a Hewitt/Canas but with only more power. He grinds his matches, always hanging in..moves well. Playing a guy like him can be very annoying.
Yeah thanks for highlights, bummer for Federer. I was worried when I saw the draw, Simon is tuff. He just hangs in there with the baseline rallies and there ya go, he takes the match. Hope Fed can regroup and win it like last year!

simon proves that if you work hard, very very hard, you can make a top ten player,e ven if you're not the most talented player on the tour.

@Rafathaman94 Well he almost beat Federer at the AO...when Federer was playing pretty badly, so that's not much:P

In 08 and even 09 there are certain periods where federer plays really poorly like he did in this match.(esp. on Hard courts)
If he could get over these patches of play he can beat Nadal in a GS Final
