How did you hook up your Mag through the comcast box? it can only record through L1 (rear)
and only if I have it set to the channel on comcast that I wish to record... Any ideas?

I just got my HDD recorder and it works! SLP is surprisingly good. Have you tried SLP

Are you using an STB?
Have you tried no STB and then Auto channel scan?
Just curious to see how many channels you receive with No STB.
