Obviously all minds think differently, but I can't imagine myself not feeling like a transexual driving a GT-R. It has a V6, a twin turbo V6. The Corvette kicked its ass with a pushrod V8 without forced induction. Think hard about this. The Corvette's quality has never faltered so all the people who are talking out of their asses that think that every product GM makes is garbage need to read up on it.

@lokrat2 lol it doesent matter about the engine size or how many cylinders it has. The gtr and the corvette are both good. Besides it doesent make the car better if it wins in a straight line. The corvette beat the gtr on the nurbergring by 7 thousandths of a second despite the corvette having almost 200hp more and is lighter thats a fail

@lokrat2 each company has there strong point, nissan specializes in smaller ported and engine sizes, while chevroletes idea of more power is a bigger engine, its engineuity vs brutality. in Japan, there arent that many straightaways which is the majority of jap car makers focus on handeling. in japan where 90% of the roads are mountain passes, horsepower doesent matter to then. on the mountain roads gravity equals out the difference in power.

@sddriftinge Do Iron Duke and Ecotec ring a bell? Both great small motors by GM. There are mountains in the United States and typically, the speed limit on interstates is 70 or 75. So why would power matter in America?

@lokrat2 another thing, hp doesent mean a thing your real results are in the transmission and rear end gears, any tuner will tell you that. Its been proven. you can take a 2000 model saleen mustang which is supercharged 390hp at 400foot pounds of tourque and put it against a 1998 supra making 320hp and 315 foot pounds of tourque and the mustang will loose. The supra has a stronger transmission and longer running gears.
