  • This has to be the most boring movie ever. Even the actors fell asleep.

  • We're dealing with a gigantic antimatter Thanksgiving turkey as big as a battleship here!

  • no wonder theyre exticnt with those aviating skills...

  • OOOOOH ...

  • Joan Rivers first role.

  • Oh well, at least they died laughing.

  • This is what happens at the other end of the trolly train tunnel.

  • Was that a flying battleship?

  • Run choo choo! Run!

  • This movie was shown at a science fiction convention I was at.

The whole audience was screaming with laughter through pretty much the entire movie.

  • It's like.....it's like a flying battleship!

  • Why the heck would a Bird want a Train?

  • hahahaha giant chicken-vulture mutant

  • they always attack trains!!!

  • toy train they should really make it real

  • Look more like a giant rubber vulture as big as a battleship.

  • RUN!!!!! IT'S A MOVIE WITH TERRIBLE SPECIAL EFFECTS!!!!!!!

  • how does he carry the train like that!? O_o

Well then again, don't all battleships?

  • how much did the train cost??

  • I laughed the hardest at this video's title.

  • Oh my god!

    0.27

Oh don't worry it was all just a dream.

  • This movie was made for 50's era children which is why it seems so absurd.

  • Cheech and Chong hosted a special about sci-fi movies, and called this "Attack of the Giant Chicken Wing"!!

  • NOOO THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE

  • i'v seen this movie.it was great!you can watch it on google videos

  • Is this when Big Bird from Sesame Street got his first hollywood break?

  • dam that's one annoyin bird. cahw cahw cahw cahw...

  • WOW! A train just got attack by a BATTTLESHIP!

  • Pageboy72, Lionel did begin offering HO scale trains when this movie was made, ( 1957 ) but the train was mostly likely made by established HO scale firms like Varney, Roundhouse, Athearn, Penn Line, etc.

  • damn!my chicken feed was on there...

maybe thats why he attacked it...

or maybe its cuz he wanted my hot girl friend

  • Well, you don't fuck with the Giant Claw.

  • Must be the USS New Jersey

  • Really, this could be a dark comedy in the realm of Fargo!

  • Still, I'd take it over some shitty CGI creature any day.

  • We need a bigger Boat!

  • That bird is as aerodynamic as an apartment building.

  • @Northside777 No, it's as aerodynamic as a... battleship.

  • The original audience laughed at it too. It needed Harryhausen to make it work.

  • Nice model train set but terrible looking Monster!

  • The title of your video is hilarious.

  • GIANT CLAW: I AINT GETIN NO TRAIN. (cuase he has a mowhawk)

  • I can see the headlines:

"UGLY-ASS GIANT CHICKEN DERAILS TRAIN WITH ENORMOUS BIRD DROPPING!!!"

  • Darn you sunk my rubber chicken.

  • thats the giant claw not a rubber chicken

  • Beware of retardo choo choo eating vulture.

  • This is so stupid that it is completely funny and random.

  • thank you oizo.

  • TRUE! (thanks Oizo)

  • Mr Oizo sent me too

  • its turkey time - gobble gobble!

  • oizo sent me this on TWITTER

  • "Or maybe it's just voicing its opinion against Thanksgiving."

    lol!

  • How did that Terrible chicken became giant?

  • Again the story line was great and even kept the music theatricals of "it came from beneath the sea" but that bird... lets just say it is waiting for an oppurtunist to come and remove the rubber chicken and add a cool monster of some sort. Happy huntings!

  • Hey this movie is great with one exception, the TURKEY the size of a battleship. If someone could make a dub with a real bird in that abominations place this would actually be worth watching. College students, be my guest! This was a good movie but the bird actually made the star of the movie walk out of the theatre embarressed, so lets see if we can do some justice to this tainted masterpiece?

  • @TheGames32

You're right! What if Tokyo recycles the story for a new Godzilla movie and create a new awesome rival for the big G?

  • @xservintage Awe, so you saw the movie! Its actually a decent story, and the idea of a bird or arial type of giant monster that overseas everything is an unnerving concept really. Heck if they had just filmed a normal vulture or something and superimposed it... this may be been a hit. The star of this one Jeff Morrow wasn't shown the monster till debut, which he embarrasedly left the theatre scarred for life. Would like to see a remake or something.

  • @TheGames32

No, I didn't see the movie. But, like you said, the story has a huge potential, and the idea of a gigantic bird is terrifying. The three things that screwed this movie up were:

    -The monster's design

    -Its funny screeches

-The lack of detail in scenes like these, where you can clearly see it's a toy train.

However, if they made a remake nowadays as an A movie, it could even be better than Cloverfield!

  • Unbelieveable crap! The train would never have stayed coupled together once it was lifted into a vertical position like that! Of course, the flying gooney bird was a bit outrageous as well! One of the most wasted films of the sci-fi era!

  • I wanna see this movie, even if it WAS one of the top 5 worst movies ever made. It's so bad it's awesome.

  • now why can't our goverment handle transportation problems like that, someone needs to send this inforamtion to Washington.

  • The Giant Claw.... such a fun movie!

  • LOL up with the horrible scary screeching!

  • The last shot of the bird flying away with the train makes me hungry for sausages! Ha ha!! Maybe that is what the bird was thinking too.

  • I love this movie!

  • this was a comedy, right?

  • No! It is the 1957 movie called: The Giant Claw.

  • LOL the giant claw is lame and cheesy it does look like a rubber chiken XD

  • The first Giant Claw fan made movie I ever saw. La Carcagne was a true nightmarish alien bird. And what the? The guy in the end can be seen sleeping.

  • LOL Guy at the end was clearly put to sleep by the movie.

  • ah ah ah ah ah

  • Long live The Giant Claw!

I've seen the movie yesterday, and oh boy, it was so bad, yet so good like a... battleship.

    I love this bird! (:

  • dude the movie is freakin old i think it was from 1957 you shouldnt expect it to be a masterpiece in our times but still back then this was freakin gold

  • Actually back than on the premiere the audience laughed so hard when the bird appeared on the screen, that Jeff Morrow (who played the main character on the film) sneaked out from the theater, totally embarrassed. Everyone thought that it was totally cheesy and fake, even in 1957.

But that's why many people, including me, love it so much right now, and I can honestly say that it's one of my favorite monster movies.

  • LOL.. that is amazing =P

  • Those railroad car couplings must be the strongest things on Earth! None of the cars came loose.

  • Did they die?

  • What a badass battleship.

  • I actually really like this movie, its one of my favourites :D

  • caw. caw. CAWCAW BATTLESHIP!!! itsa eatin your CHOO-CHOO

  • How did they kill it?

  • Put down my Lionel train! That cost me a lot of money!

  • Gosh, that gargantuan pheasent-turkey-vulture from "a godforsaken antimatter galaxy" ( :-DD ) sure has an annoying screech... :-P

  • i cant compare it to anything except a battleship

  • the giant claw is dbest and scariest monster i ever seen :D and people reay had better imagination when first giant monster appeared in movies :D

  • Battleships looked very weird back in the 50s!

  • no joke the giant claw iz my fave movie.Whats that in the sky hmm kinda looks like a battle ship

  • ..something as big as a battleship

  • u dont fuck wit the giant claw!

  • Looked like he was flying off with sausage links.

  • Dang!! I guess I won't be getting my package!!

  • although the face on the bird is comical,,,the special effects used in the birds capture of the train is outstanding,,,it looks real,,,this picture has held up well over time

  • From now on I'll realize how retarded I can sound o.o

  • lol

  • Rofl! This inflated turkey scares the hell out of me some of the time, but lol toy train. you can seriously tell, pause at the point he puts his claw on the train. Youll see what I mean

  • Oh, I thought it was a real train

  • Lol, toy choo-choo train.

  • That bird is as big as a battleship!

  • @Tork110 probably the coolest thing about it lol

  • noob it is a bird, a chicken whahah

  • thats a vulture you artard

  • god, this film was such a poor budget

first, you can tell the giant claw [aka retarded turkey] has goofball eyes and a fake body, they even put a train set there and you can bloody tell its fake and wtf? they used plastic army men for the soilders!

  • Aren't we glad its 2008:()

  • Mommy that mean old chicken stole my train!

  • Fuckin' giant claw that freaks the shit out of me!

  • That damn Train set destroying buzzard!! he will pay!

  • lol that looks like something of a Hornby train set.

  • You can tell its a train set. For one, the train is tiny, no matter how hard you try to picture it big and second, a real trains carriages would not drag down like that, they would snap off each other. Great for its time though!

  • You don't say...That's a real train man! Can't you see the smoke coming out of the cho-cho chimney? Seen any toy-trains that do that lately ?

  • yes

  • Oh my God, my train set!

  • WHAT MOVIE???!!!!!!!!

  • "The Giant Claw." 1957.

  • great! :°°°D
