The tax holiday would be a poor response to our current economic conditions. Should our Congress actually pass this into law, again (it didnt work in 2004/2005), a failure to include clawback provisions against the benefitting companies, such that they be required repay the taxes if they do not create jobs (the stated reason they "need" the tax cut), should be a criminal offense.

Tax cheating is an awful term. Taxation is theft. Theft is immoral, therefore taxation is immoral. If you don't have to suffer legal repercussions for avoiding taxes, that is awesome. Bailouts, wars, police state/prison system, only possible because of this theft. If there is going to be taxes in an immoral society, everyone should pay equally. Small businesses shouldn't be taxed multiple times more than mega multinationals

The right believes greed will lead to riches for everyone. This has been proven historically to be wrong. You know that the US spends more on students, per capita, than the entire western world?  Give me a break, funding isn't the problem, our ossified educational system is.

They are following the law, keeping foreign profits overseas is perfectly legal. No taxes are due until that money is brought to the US. By the way, the US is one of the few countries that tries to tax overseas profit. Most European countries don't tax foreign profits as a way to encourage capital formation.
