I totally think you're right about the population being fed crappy tv. But its not the shows above that cause the issues. For kids, all of the violent shows are the worst. Tom and Jerry for instance. I like watching that show but they have done psychological studies and kids that watch violent tv are likely to act out. It plays on what people are thinking and says the people's thoughts on the matter in such a way that we can look at it a number of different ways. This isn't conspiracy. Corporations DO control things (ex: Time Warner OWNS Warner Brothers, DC Comics, & a lot of other stations on the east coast) and DO have influence in the government. I totally think you're right about the population being fed crappy tv. But its not the shows above that cause the issues. For kids, all of the violent shows are the worst. Tom and Jerry for instance. I like watching that show but they have done psychological studies and kids that watch violent tv are likely to act out. Kids that watch stories on love, friendship,and teamwork, feel a freedom to explore the world around them. My sister quotes spanish (that she learned from Dora) and she's 3!

We were already buying oil from Iraq and other countries who hate our guts anyway, so we didn't gain anything from going to war with them (in the way of oil).
