One of the theories that makes more sense to me is that HIV jumped from monkeys to humans mostly because of a series of human vaccine trials that took place in Africa. always thought freddie was better live, and I think that's a proof right here... dont get me wrong I love freddie's work in the studios, but maybe cause he had better training during tours and that he could be maybe more free to shout on stage, I think he sounds more powerfull live :)

Funny i never look at it that way. Its like comparing apples and oranges in my mind. He could sing very high notes, and falsetto in studio, something u cant do in concert because mainly of fatigue. And hard to control i think. Not that big a voiceexpert. Then again he could sing much stronger and higher live, compared to in the studio. Each one had its strengths.

well jis falsettos in impromptu in wembley for example were pretty good... but yeah that doesn't equal the falsetto on "it's late" ... but I thought a bit about it, and I think that's because he tried to " broke" his voice on the records mainly since jazz, and gave up his crystal clear voice he had in the early days and live, that's maybe why I think he lost a bit of power, cause in Innuendo he sang again with his " clear voice" and not raw like in " one vision" for example :)

You're right jarjon76. He is one of the most inventive, self-taught and well talented guitarists that ever existed. He built himself as a musician like he did with his guitar, and didn't need these Berklees and etc to be great. He did not immitate nobody - though being a great fan of Hendrix - his solos are incomparable. Every single note has a reason to be put on there. Besides that a large part of Queen solos have different melodic sequences, some progressive, some pompous, all created by him.
