  • I have a Wacom Create tablet. BUT i have adobe photoshop elements 9. My tablets pen pressure doesn't work. I can't find the pen pressure from elements 9. How can i put the pen pressure on?

  • it didn't work...

  • Damn this boy is in hard puberty lol

  • Sadly I use a VisTablet pen pad and I guess it doesn't have pen pressure. Its disappointing.

  • How can I do it with PSE7? I got an ADESSO tablet (i think) and it came with ps and it also has pen pressure. But how do I get it to work on pse7?

  • also, pen pressure is functional during the tutorial that comes with the tablet as well as on paint tool sai, but just not photoshop.

  • hi, i'm using a bamboo fun tablet (which i have already configured sensitivity on) and i have cs5 (though i just got it and i haven't set anything up). i followed all your instructions to achieve that sensitive line for pen pressure, but for some reason my brush doesn't change when i click shape dynamics. despite that, i continued to do everything the same and nothing about the brush changed at all. is there anything i'm doing wrong?

  • @halanova sorry for the late reply. you should check and see if you have the latest drivers for your tablet. should fix the problem

  • im not sure. i was giving the demonstration for CS5, you could be out of luck... i'm not sure if Elements 8 has that pen pressure yet

  • I have Photoshop Elements 8 Mac OS X and Intuos Profession Pen Tablet. I can't find the pen pressure, and that's one of the most important tools to me. :( Suggestions on where to find it?

  • Hi, I'm using a full spec hp tc4400 . Pen pressure and stylus eraser works on Artrage and Autodesk Sketchbook pro perfectly but not on Photoshop or Corel Painter? I've looked everywhere for an answer but with no luck...

    Any suggestions would be great,

    Thanks in advance...

  • Hi, there.

    I have a Wacom Intuos4 A4 tablet.

I tried following your tutorial, but how can I get the direction of the taper to follow the path of the pen, and how can I get 100% smooth, flowing lines.

Sorry to ask stupid questions, but I had a little trouble interpreting the information in the video.

    Thank you, in advance.

  • @mccarthystuart Is there a way I can get the point of the brush line to follow the movement of the pen, instead of it staying horizontal?

  • my tablet doesnt have pen pressure......yay......

  • @mokonarules what kind is it?

  • @spicejustin its a genius G-pen 4500 and when i activate the pen pressure option my brush is the same...

  • make sure you have the drivers for your wacom tablet installed.

  • doesn't work for me

  • @Eltoroguaco what are you running on? you have drivers and all?

  • @spicejustin oh I fixed it by updating my tablet driver :P

  • no you need a tablet... the mouse dose not work. the pen pressure is built into the pen. wacom is the top brand on the market :D

  • where is the transfer brush setting for cs3?

  • Do u need to have a Tablet for this? LIke IS Having only the program Photoshop Enough for pen pressure?

  • @gobais53

It's best to use a tablet. It's not like a person cannot use a mouse. It's just difficult. Quite frankly, I find painting impossible in photoshop without a tablet and stylus.
