Altough this video is quiet old and I know you don't use the BB anymore (switched to WP and than back to iPhone, didn't you?), but I think this is really remarkable.

We USE! cells since lets say, mid 90ies, and Smartphones (excluding older BB) more and more since the iPhone --> 2007. Its not even the 5 anniversary of the iPhone and lots, lots, and once more, lots of people are addicted to their phones. Most of them won't accept it, but this is true! We minimize the time we spent doing things...

Btw, i'm using a Bold 9900! Because of it does what I want it to do. By now acceptable browser if I have to look up something shortly, plays music, good calendar and the best keyboard to write texts fastly --> I can concentrate on real life again, asap!

I hope things will change again, but honestly I'm not really optimistic

No Jon youre not the only one! With Sprint I repeatedly kept going back and forth between my Hero and BB8530. Now Im with Verizon doing the same between my Droid Incredible and Bold9650.... I have found that the Blackberry actually for me is better..because I think I have OCD and on the HTC I couldnt go one day without changing my widgets and wallpaper CONSTANTLY...I know it sounds crazy. BB is more calming for some reason. BTW Im switching to Tmo for the 9780 (better plans on Tmo)

Jon I too have a tech addiction and I am in the computer and phone (android) everyday. I do take time to have some me time with my lady love but besides her and sleeping, these are the only times I am without my tech. My suggestion is to take more walks with the pup, get some fresh air and put it on the schedule. Just a thought. Thank you for the video and sharing your life. Congrats again on your graduation.

Thats the thing about BB's. They do what you want a phone to do...WELL! In fact email is better than on any device, and BB Messenger is also very good. I bought an Android Tablet, mainly because if I bought an Android phone, I'll always be on it and it'll be with me wherever I go!! Fyi, UberSocial for Blackberry is the best twitter app ever, followed closely by tweetcaster on Android...in my opinion...so yes you can tweet excellently, and also facebook and BBM and do emails very well

I own an EVO 3D and a tmobile nexus s and honestly i find my self just getting overwhelmed all the time with them and i switch back to my bold 9780, sometimes us cellphone geeks get tired and just need a break! I go from my samsung mythic which is barely even a feature phone to my nokia 6030 just because the touch screen on my samsung drives me insane and the tactile nokia keyboard is fabulous. My dad even goes back to his 8320 from his 3GS because of the simplicity so no your not alone.

Good point there John! Email, text that's all you need. That's why Blackberry is my main phone. You can just hook up all your emails in and they're all push! Not sure why apple, android and windows dont do the same like blackberry's email solution.

lol, i do the same thing every few months. I shelve the iPhone and slap my SIM card in my old Nokia E-whatever phone. Its so slow, the browser sucks, the camera is awful, the screen is about half the size of my iPhone, the apps are a joke.. you get the picture. But, it keeps everything simple.. email, texting (totally love coming back to a physical QWERTY), and the YouTube app is all I use. If I need the Web, I get my ass to the nearest computer.

I totally agree with you john, after months of using the iPhone 4 and the xperia play now i'm using a simple iPhone 2G and it works great! Plus the battery lasts 2 or 3 days! I think i will stay with this until the iPhone 5 comes out!!

why dont you get two phones? one thats tech and other business related items and ones that personal that does email and a basic phone features. It makes separating them much easier. Like when you go out with your wife or after 8am you would only use the Basic phone and the rest you would use the Iphone/Andriod
