You're absolutely right about their original style. I have not seen them yet but I would pay almost any price to bask in their glory. Unlike such charlatans such as David Bowie they have always thrown caution to the wind and continue to make brilliant music. If they ever frequent the east coast I will be there I promise you that.

I saw Sparks in New Orleans about twenty years ago. Only about 100 people showed up and they still played a full and vibrant two hour show as if the place was packed.

Sadly, they've never returned - this video is great. It's a great song and a great LP. Russ Mael's voice is a wonder of music..

Great track, love the production too...- I managed to watch most of the series. Sparks and Gnarls Barkley were the highlights for me though I really didn't like radiohead.

I wish the version of Crazy (from Sky Arts) was on here - an outstanding version IMHO.

Great stuff. Makes me really wanna see Sparks live. (Play Minneapolis/St. Paul sometime, please?) "Exotic Creatures of the Deep" is my favorite album of '08. Nearly forty years of music and still going incredibly strong. My how I love Sparks. :)
