Be real here, Obama's been consistent and collected entirely throughout. But I do agree they should be tested, absolutely, no argument there.

I admit Biden isn't an exciting choice, but he isn't a bad either. I like him for 2 reasons. 1. He has a LOT of foreign policy experience. 2. He has one of the best, if not the best, voting records in the whole senate on women's issues. For example, he created the Violence Against Women Act that, among other things, protects the rights of women when they are raped and makes the hospital cover the cost of rape kits. His actual words were "taxes that are really burdensome on families making 50, 60, 70k a year. Those are the taxes I think would help stimulate the economy."
Obviously as you get further up the income scale, paying taxes doesn't pose as MUCH of a burden on people paying those amounts and you don't have to restrain spending as much, but at no point did he say ONLY these people and noone else.

Voter fraud is not the same thing as voter registration fraud. Remember that a made up name on a registration form can't make a vote when it comes to the polls, so yes there may be some people fucking about so they can go home quicker, but when it comes to actual REAL votes it doesn't actually matter at all.

I'd say Obama has handled these questions incredibly well. If anyone hasn't handled the pressure (and people can and will argue this all they want) it would be McCain. He's the one who "valiantly" ran off to Washington to do....absolutely nothing constructive. He's flip flopped his entire campaign numerous times, and contradicts himself. Be real here, Obama's been consistent and collected entirely throughout. But I do agree they should be tested, absolutely, no argument there.

Yes i agree to the fullest that the questions could have been delivered in a more civilized fashion, but honestly, dont you think that our presidential candidates should be tested in such a way? I can only imagine the pressures and struggles our leaders have to face each and every day, and if they are to lead our country, i believe a true test of ones ability to withstand pressure and "difficult" questions is not even close to being out of line. I admit Biden isn't an exciting choice, but he isn't a bad either. I like him for 2 reasons. 1. He has a LOT of foreign policy experience. 2. He has one of the best, if not the best, voting records in the whole senate on women's issues. For example, he created the Violence Against Women Act that, among other things, protects the rights of women when they are raped and makes the hospital cover the cost of rape kits. I hope this helps you like him better!

1) Bush taxes expire and the Middle Class gets the tax break, with higher taxes to the corporations that can clearly get by without them. 2)The increased funds from the shift will fund these programs, in addition to the $10 billion reduction a month we will get from effectively pulling out of Iraq. 3) "Share the wealth" he merely meant that it's not fair billionares get tax breaks while others are losing homes; not literally distributing incomes, we've had this tax system since 1913. 1) His plan means billions in breaks by nixing income taxes for the 7 million senior citizens making less than $50,000 a year, establishing a universal credit for the 10 million homeowners who do not itemize their deductions -- most of whom make less than $50,000 annually -- and providing 150 million Americans with tax cuts of up to $1,000. I can't give you an exact percentage, but it's a further cut.

2) I would agree with you that yes, in order to be responsible we will remain in Iraq for a significant amount of time, and Obama knows it. But I would argue it would contrast with McCain's plan of establishing some kind of permanent base like we have in South Korea, Germany, etc; or actual ground forces would leave sooner. 3) Joe the plumber doesn't speak for everyone, I understand he's just a symbol, but there are a lot of "plumbers" that really hate what he represents.

As for Obama saying no higher than $70k. That's not actually true. He didn't say $70k and no higher.
His actual words were "taxes that are really burdensome on families making 50, 60, 70k a year. Those are the taxes I think would help stimulate the economy."
Obviously as you get further up the income scale, paying taxes doesn't pose as MUCH of a burden on people paying those amounts and you don't have to restrain spending as much, but at no point did he say ONLY these people and noone else.

America was built on certain ideals.....fairness wsnt one of them. So what if Swedan and other socialist countrys have some things better, they give up things for it, like money in tax's and some freedoms. Sweden also doenst allow many ppl to immigrate...for an obvious reason.
THe US was built on the idea of taking care of yourself, it didnt matter who you were or where you were from if you worked hard you could be anything. You could be a millionair. Obama wants to take that away.
