  • Beautiful but sad video. Many thanks to the sailor who died to protect our freedom, and God be with the departed and the family. I'm still unsure of whether I'd rather be buried at sea or have a regular burial.

  • RIP Solder ,

The one protect for my freedom

  • what kind of person dislikes this beautiful video

  • I've heard TAPS a thousand times comin from a military family and to this day it still gives me chills. May all of our departed soilders rest in peace and God bless all the men and women serving over seas. Stay safe and come home soon

  • my dad was a SEAl is ultimate burial wish is to be cremated and have his ashes scattered at land in Arlington, at Sea, and in the Air by a friend that still jumps.

  • Honneur et Patrie

  • Respect and Honor.

  • May our honor be with him at all time. He has served the U.S and we should respect him.

  • I hope to join the Navy (Hopefully SEALS) and when I die I would like to also be burried at sea.

  • @indoorin If you want to be a SEAL, best thing for you to do is either get into Marine Force Recon, Army Rangers or Army Delta. Most SEAL's come from 1 of those units. And it's a long road, don't expect to be 1 during your first enlistment, and the drop-out rate is somewhere near 60% I think.. But go for it if that's what you want.

  • I am actually planning on joining the Navy's EOD on my first enlistment. And then seeing if they'll accept me into the SEAL program once I am 28.

  • @laurensmalter no, most SEALS come from the navy not other branches

  • do you have a problem?

  • the family will would be really really pleased to have seen their sons or daughters final wishes were carried with full honours with the family being there well I salute to all men and woman fighting at war wherever they are or where they are from my thoughts are with you all and with your family's too I wish PM Brown and President Obama would bring our men and women home sooner than later so there would no more deaths or casualties any more. Bring them all home safe

  • May God Be With Him.

  • Your right there is no Crematorium onboard a naval vessel, and when a veteran passes and requested a burial at sea, the family brings the ashes to the command that is doing the burial at sea, before said command departs for their deployment.

  • Dude, u have to be from the Gridley? cuz my video is from the same angle as urs, so, who r u?

  • What happened to the guy that died?

  • I'm not sure what happened to him. I suspect those wete the ashes of a Navy veteran who requested a burial at sea. There's no cermatorium on board a ship. So the family probably sent the ashes to the ship with the request for burial at sea.
