The first time Lois called Clark Smallville I thought it was just a fluke but all the way up to season 10 final, she still calls him smallville more often than Clark! I love Lois and everything that Erica Durance brings to the character is amazing! I will always love smallville!!!!!

@mashrur123 they did that because Lana also had dark hair, and they didn't want viewers to get confused btwn the two, so each season they started to make her hair darker... it seemed pretty pointless, since Erica looks best w/ dark hair, and Lana actually had a tint of red in her hair (in this season)

@mashrur123 I have an in-story theory about that. I think that Lois dyed her hair lighter as a young teen because she didn't want to remind her father as much of her mother as she grew older.

Obviously the "real" reason is that the production team didn't want Lois and Lana looking too much alike at first, but I like the character-centric explanation better.
