  • wtf whith his shoulder?

  • George is a good interviewer but....he is soo hard to understand, he speaks too fast and does not articulate.

  • @jockottawa i don't find so

  • Give it 40 years and George will be Larry's successor

  • o king bacchus withj gleason. jackie and the others. caller from pergatory...

  • Love Larry!!

  • Wow I just heard of this George guy. Very very cool. And SMOKIN" hot! :-)

  • excelente!!! Gente boa por estes lados, nâo???

  • Wow, Larry looks different here. He's almost likeable, now. LOL.

  • Larry King has that spark , that gets you caught up in the words he says ; I just hope when I'm his age I am half as interesting as the man he is today.

  • o love his fucking voice

just imagane him in the bed when his fucking his wife

    Ohhhh baby

  • @cocolike1 Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @cocolike1 lol

  • I've been to Georges, mom's house, she's extremly religious, but the nicest person ever... she gave me $50 to look after her nephew lol

  • on day im going to sit next to larry king on an airplane

  • and the bible was wrong once when newtons had discoverd that the earth was round pepole began to think that he was a saint who was trying to pull away christians away from god becouse some pepole did and now that it was spread more than they knew it was real and thats why some pepole left the church and than pepole they began to think if the bible is wrong about on thing maybe the hole thing is wrong thats when they took that part off of the bible what a meth why don't you just go to hell

  • @xxxbmxerxxx1 that doesn't many ANY sense. Please rephrase your rant, this time using punctuation and actual words.

  • what did he say to larry at 4:23 ?

  • Two awesome interviewers together = great TV

  • I only clicked on this because of the guys ridiculous last name.

  • i thought that when he said they offered to change his name it would be for the reason that its so damn long, but when he said ethnic I thought that was mean. Plus Stroumboulopoulos is way cooler, I will always remember that but I will definitely forget the name George Jefferson.

  • what a long ass surname. how does that fit on applications

  • are you kidding me a 50 second advertisement, wowow i miss the old youtube

  • George stroumboulopoulos is greek?

  • @valerie8stars his mother is ukranian and his father is a greek man from egypt.

  • @valerie8stars Yeah, George is Greek..and cute!!

  • George is cute!

  • I am entertained

  • Man Larry king is a jew!!! no wonder why he is there?

  • @PHOSPAL well, his parents were jewish and he is of jewish heritage but religiously speaking he's agnostic.

  • Bad show, bad host.

  • @ThayinJai How? George is an awesome host. He's so well spoken.

  • @thatPUNKdude Of course you'd say that with the fact The Hour is literally the only Canadian late night talk show... When you have as much as we do, any little thing wrong is a major flaw.

  • @thatPUNKdude He is right.. this show is boring. Mainly because it is broadcast on a news channel.. lots of dry questions. George would be better to host a show on muchmoremusic or global etc. not on a freaking news channel.

  • NO JOKE! I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING ABOUT THE LAST NAME! most people in Hollywood change there names if theyre too long and difficult to pronounce!

  • George should replace Larry.

  • @Vostokification Stroumboulopoulos Tonight. lmao

  • what do ppl in show business have against ethnic sounding names??? racist assholes

  • I love intelligence, therefore I like Larry King

  • @marcetclaude oxymoron. HOW IMPORTANT IS THE BOARD

    larry is just the worst.

  • what a great interview!! i love george!!

  • why the hell isn't strombo taking over for larry king. he's too much of a talent to not be exposed to the american audience

  • invisible?... I feel more like he is speaking of gay men and not black men.

  • @stads24 he's talking about in the 50s and 60s when you wouldn't find a single black person on television. gay people are not a VISIBLE minority, you wouldn't know if they were on air or not unless they came right out and identified themselves as gay.

  • @rocthemic69 I agree with you.I simply meant that with the civil rights movement, there was momentum during that time whether good or bad. With gays, there was almost complete invisibility until the AIDS crisis offered loads of bad press. It is different to be a person who has to always live a well- guarded lie and secret life,as opposed to one that is disempowered, but has the support of their own group and its vibrant backing.Remember that both groups suffered greatly, but one history is unknown

  • The is one of a few interviews I have seen of George Stroumboulopoulos, he is very talented and very intelligent.

  • King is an inspiration.

  • why lary so popular?

  • i dont want to buy finishing season ticket!

  • Larry's going to be gone soon. I would love to see Stroumbo to get his show!

  • I find that a lot of broadcasters and tv anchors and show hosts are too naive. Larry King is just a very laid back and intelligent guy and is very wise.

  • Larry met JFK, Martin Luther King, and Malcolm X. And they all have "what" in common? Never get in touch with Larry King. Bad things might happen.

  • what evil lurks in the hearts of men lol. i wish i had his diabolical voice

  • there's either a drunk or retarded lady laughing in the audience

  • george.....you have lary king on the hot seat.....you've made it son!

  • Well the fact that they get high ratings tell you something. They are quality entertainment. But they are more frivolous than The Hour, or even The Daily Show type shows.

  • big accomplishment george!

  • King's voice is so bassy.

  • Hi George! I love Gerardo!!!!!!!

  • Strombo and the Hour blow other late night talk format away. Truly groundbreaking. Canada is proud of you George.

  • Well I don't think you can compare them. Letterman/Conan is about comedy, this is about conversation.

  • @windhorse61 I've only had exposure to George via the footage uploaded onto YouTube, but he really seems to possess the charisma, conversational skills, and overall welcoming demeanor expected from a quality talk show host.

  • GREATT INTERVIEW

  • George has his pros and cons. He's very personable, respectful, and--unlike a lot of interviewers--doesn't interupt his interviewees often.

However, a lot of the time I'm looking for a deeper line of questioning. This is especially clear when George has political figures on his show. He is either not knowledgable about political issues, or is trying to shape his show towards people who aren't politically savvy.

Other than his lack of knowledge and eloquence, he's a great guy to watch.

  • @MrMustard12345 he likes to learn he gets better every time.

  • George is the best interviewer on TV today

  • i agree with you, like i agree that we need to breathe

  • Comment removed

  • george will go down as canadas larry king.... larry was far better on his own on nite talk radio in the 70s 80s

  • amazing story about king

  • did he not contradict himself about his refleciveness ?

  • he was saying he's reflective of his career, but not his personal life

  • Stroumboulopoulos

  • Wow, that is one awesome interview.

  • great interview.

  • cudos to strombo - good job

  • Remarkably candid.

  • that was a great interview both from great questions from george and great answers from larry

1 of my favorite interviews from the hour

  • holly shit this guy has a memory

  • Tom Cruise has been on the hour, too.

  • true-great interview, especially for a wannabe actor such as I. Ed Norton interview is still my fave though

  • good book

  • now larry king is doing a micheal jackson crappy show for a week but i forgive him for being who he is.

    long live the king

  • this george guy is pretyy cool.

  • Just curious, but was your misspelling of "challenge" and mention of the contest, were you being ironic?

  • Larry king is awsome!!!.. you are ok to george ;P

  • "For a second you were saying, 'I wanna be Larry Liquors.' "

    Haha. Great and enlightening interview.

  • George is an amazing interviewer. His interviews are always interesting.

  • Holy Shit. I remember Geogres when he hosted loud, I sent a letter to Much sayin' to get rid of him cuz he talked to much and didn't play enough music lol. I acctaully met him once at the Exhibition probably 2004'ish I saw and him and was like" hey George can we get some pictures?" he was really cool about it. My buddy walked up to him to shake his hand and went "Holy Shit" LOL.He's come a long way since loud; I mean when you interveiw Larry King ....thats big.

  • THE FUCKING LEGEND!

  • its the Master and the Apprentice~ Larry King truly one of the best interviewers.. I admire him very much~

  • what an amazing interview

  • that guy is Greek

  • with a name like Stroumboulopoulos.....what'd you expect.

You know much music once had a contest and the callenge of the contest was to correctly spell Georges last name it was pretty funny.

  • The JFK story was amazing.

  • its always good to listen to a wise old man

  • @mprime2003 Go Larry King . Not "old", but that's your opinion

  • @mprime2003 Old never mean wise.

  • larry king may be an old fuck, but god damn can he interview anybody about important topics

  • Alex Jones and hish black helicoptersh!

  • Frank Gehry, the world famous architects real name is Frank Goldberg. He changed it to Gehry because of antisemitism in the industry.

  • I like King when he's being interviewed than when he interviews.

  • I love larry King. He is the legend. Very talented man.

  • I couldn't agree with you more!! Larry King is my hero!! I want to be a broadcaster just like him. I JUST finished his new book and it is wonderful and I have his Greatest Interviews DVD ever!!!

  • the legend and the protege !

  • i love watching interviewers interview interviewers! Especially when it's two amazing guys like this.

  • Haha not really, that's why the Hour is the best, no real competition.

  • Human Dignity. Exactly. Thank you, Larry King. :)

  • no set up? somebody dropped the ball.

  • holy crap it's the King...on The Hour

  • ROFL thats the interesting way to book.

  • The Hour is hands down the best Canadian talk show. Even though George Stroumboulopoulos is a bit of a douche he's a great interviewer.

  • I know some people who've met him, who say he's a sincerely nice guy.

  • george is an alright guy, a lot of people dont like him, but he seems alright on tv and when I met him he seemed like he would be a very interesting person to hang out with, intelligant and layed back, I actually think he has a lot going for him.

  • Eh, I don't think he's a douche. My dad worked with him for awhile..if he was a douche, he'd tell me.

  • First of all, what is wrong with a douche, it keeps folks clean and not stinky. Secondly, I've met the man twice, and he is down to earth and a gentleman. He is nice to service people, not like some folks in Hollywood. As long as he keeps his head from getting big - - because a lot of folks are courting him, he should do well. Stay as you are George, you are a sweetie!

  • love larry

  • nice, u got Larry KING. GREAT INTERVIEW!!

  • he is such a good interviewer. you can actually tell hes really interested in what the person hes interviewing has to say.

  • The crowd is kind of annoying. They laugh at stuff that's not even funny. Good interview though.

  • Masula Falls, hello....

  • Wow,Larry king interviewed,by George nevertheless awesome!

  • LRS

  • great interview

  • Larry has a gangster lean.

  • wheres the bio? :(

  • god*

  • How do you get a deep voice like that

  • Lots of smoking I believe.

  • 3 packs a day

  • harness the true powers of your testosterone

  • niether of them have very deep voices, generally men in radio have masculine voices

  • What amazes me about Larry is that he, after all this time, still has a grateful attitude.

  • He has to take over and start asking his own questions, eh? Adorable. It's in his blood. Thanks for posting this. I missed it. @kingsthings !!!

  • The books sounds like it'll be a very interesting read.

  • Great interview

Gotta pick up the book for sure
