  • just so everyone knows, i'm not afraid to show my face...the camera angle just works out that way. I noticed none of my videos show my face. Oh well...you're not missing much: )

  • Chant de Paix (Song of Peace) by jean langlais

  • cool! Is that pretty hard to play?

  • beautifully performed

  • You must have had formal training somewhere to play like that. Sight reading, fingering, you've had training, correct?

  • that is correct

  • Where is this organ, give us a location, and the type of organ. Thank you

  • This is the Mighty (HA!uhh, kinda) 8 rank Moller of First Mennonite Church, Wadsworth Ohio

Thanks for your support, by the way

  • Only 8 ranks? I thought it would be a little more than that. We have a 56 rank Moller here that was rebuilt by Brunner. Anything that Brunner didn't work on sounds like hell...the rest is great.

  • well yes, i've had that comment before. I think the voicing was very economical (for lack of a better word.) It can really serve a wide variety of literature for such a small thing. Mixtures are only two ranks and everything in the pedal is taken from the swell or great.

  • That that you mention it, ya can sorta notice about the pedals...especially if you are used to the kind of sound you get out of a small practice organ. So I notice it now that you brought it to my attention. Still sounds good for so small though.

  • This must be one of those catalog Mollers. I can't recall what they called them. "Artiste" or something like that I think. 8 ranks is pretty pinchy. It has to be unitized to the max. Still better than nothing. Incidentally, I had read your remarks here and there and had you pegged for someone older. You must have been paying attention in class. LOL...Thanks for sharing these with us.

  • i am proud to say that we do not have an Artiste series...just a very small moller. Sure wish there was a 16' Diapason or at least some independent 16' stop on the pedal. Many times i find myself playing some of the more "grand" verses of hymns an octave up on the manuals and an octave down in the pedal. I know that that's completely unorthodox, but it sure sounds nice...

  • Whoever you are, you are a good organist, stay with the ORGAN, AND BLESS millions with your playing. Bravo!!!!

  • Very nice! :-)

  • Very nice!

  • OMGOSH Look at all them pedals hahahahaha.

Great playn though dude. Your good.

That and your church group seems pretty laid back I like that.

  • It's a very good thing that people have asked you to play the organ (and post on Youtube, thanks!) because you have a fantastic talent! "Wer nur den lieben" from Bach and then "Chant de Paix" from Langlais, what a nice combination! Thanks entirely and Happy Holidays to you!

  • Actually, it is concave and radiating per AGO standards, it is just hard to tell from that angle, I'm just bad at playing pedals.
