Does anybody remember a show or toy similar to Voltron? Here's the thing. 1 Easter, I can't remember when, in my basket, my mom got me this like 2½-3ft high Voltron looking thing, that had swords & fired missiles form it's fingers. I also had a little 4-5in die cast metal 1 (made in Taiwan) It was pre-Voltron which came out in '84, when I was 13yo (too old for easter baskets 7 toys). Perhaps it was just a generic robot, but since there were 2, I think not. Sound familiar to anybody?

I specifically remember the "V" on the front, the little plastic swords, & missile firing hand. Wow! It really brings back some memories. I'm not gonna buy it though, I was just curious. Yes, you could say he'll lose the slaves and resources of Arus, but the psychological warfare aspect could also be a plus, destroyed planet and super robot, a lot would bend to his will rather quickly. Not fancy or in line with a kid's show but gets the job done.
