For any one wanting to know the chords:

Verse is a C, A minor, and D at the end when he says "come alive."

C /// Amin /// C /// Amin /// C /// Amin /// C /// D ( just listen to the rhythm)

The verse uses a chord I can't be bothered to remember it's name, but I'll label it G*. It's like a G, but you move your 1st and 2nd fingers down to the 5th and 4th string. Like this:

0 3 2 0 0 3

It goes:

G, G*, G, Amin, C, D in that order.

Just listen for the rhythm.

@iamthefurey Boss HM-2. I heard Bilinda used one, which is why I got it. But I'm not completely sure she actually used it, or if it's just something on guitargeek. If you set everything at 12 on that pedal and drive it with a single coil bridge pickup, it pretty much has this tone.

I have a pair of fantastic Kinman noiseless pickups in my Mustang, which is mostly responsible for the tone, I think. The distortion pedal is a Boss HM-2, which is Bilinda's distortion pedal, so it obviously screams My Bloody Valentine. I think the sound itself was a combination of running direct from the HM-2 and also a mic'd up Roland Cube.

i didn't look at tabs, so i don't know what they were playing, but i played C major - A minor a bunch of times, then D major just before the chorus (girl i come alive). chorus is G major, C major (+7 +9), G major, A minor, C major, D major. then there's a few fingers here and there just to get some of the little melodies going.
