ok that guy should stop with his bullshit.he should go and look for f****jobs cause i applied to 100+ places and it was in mcdonalds and etc.NO ONE IS HIRING>so stop with your m****** lies
The debt ceiling is designed to protect us from run away spending. How would living withing our means damage the full faith and credit of the USA? How would living within our means be some kind of default? This guy is truly dangerous if he means what he's saying.
Holiday sales forecasts 'beating expectations' are not a sign that the economy is improving. Our economy is falling apart without stimulus. That's a sad commentary in an of itself. How did we get to the point to where we need federal bailouts/stimulus/QE2 just to sustain the economy?
Oh, btw: real unemployment is closer to 20 percent (not to be confused by 'adjusted employment', which discounts under-employed, and unemployed longer than 6 months that is quoted in this news cast as 9 percent).
"A much needed boost for the economy this holiday, but where are the new jobs?"
The jobs are simply not there. The christmas time spending has not been seen as a boost for many years. Infact if no one spends their money during Christmas then the businesses will claim to have got a loss since they all prepare and have adapted to receiving the money they do during Christmas. The Christmas spending is normal and offers no real "boost".
do you really want to believe that the economy is getting better ABC news? Your lying to the American people.
