  • Your children are so cute!

  • i need a bottle of this where can i get one?

  • any asian market, if you live in a large city there are usually several asian markets...there are a couple near me...ramune is addictive...so far orange & strawberry are my fave's

  • U can get them at some fye stores. I get my supply at a store called World Market. I don't know if that is a national chain but I know they have one in Columbus, OH and Banton Rouge, LA.

  • That's where I get mine too! lol I'm in Texas

  • That kid is on the edge. You take his Ramune...

  • umm... the lady at the restaurant i was at said it was 7-UP flavor. it does kinda taste a little like 7-UP but i think ramune is better.

  • I agree I like Melon the best ^^

  • my favorite flavor is the original one. but melon is pretty good too.

  • Nice! Smart bottles!

  • I love ramune, and my half a year (and counting) of japanese lessons i can kinda understand what their saying at the beginning.

  • I already knew how to open a bottle, but the screw-top makes it's MUCH easier to get the marble out.

Please watch MY video on how to get the Marble BACK IN. (Without a screw top)

  • This would make a awesome Ramune Soda commercial.

  • i personally say that the sangaria brand of ramune is alot easier to open but its still a pain

  • i want oneeeeeee!

  • Ahh..

    I love them drinks. (:

  • urgh im having trouble opening it.

  • myt ramune bottle doesn't unscrew...

  • yes, there is a warning on it NOT to try to get the marbel out... so... yeah that might have something to do with that...

  • HA Ha hahahahahahaha! SO cute!!! :-)

  • your kids are cute. Its great they can speak both languages.

  • best one I've seen so far XD

  • I bought Ramune at an anime convention. My firnd got it too. i didn't hold it down long enough and it went EVERYWHERE. I lost half the bottle xD

  • What the hell! I had to break the bottle open with the flat side of an ax to get the marble.

  • Atashi wa Amerikajin desu....Eeto, daisuki ga ramune. :D

    Too expensive, though.

    And does my Japanese suck?

  • uhm kinda?

  • such cute little boys!!!!

  • yes! i got it to open!

  • i love that drink XD

  • I loved your disclaimers. The Canadian disclaimer made me happy to know that we're not always ignored, and the other one was just funny, lol.

As dorky as it is to admit, this video totally saved me. I'm going to Japan this July and I've always wanted to try Ramune, but have been to afraid of it soaking me in the process. I've seen a lot of vids where people try it, and it just fizzes on them.

Thank you!! P.S. Your kids are so adorable!!

  • kid: *dances kreepy dance*

dad (i assume): you do realize people are watching you

    kid: 0.0

  • anata no kodomosan wa kawaii desu!

    ramune ga suki desu!!

  • hai so desu

  • lol no children were harmed in the making of the video... i turned the camera of first :)

  • what the???? How did get the marble out of the bottle so easily?? I just tried it and ended up using a lighter to melt the plastic cover, but still I had to use pliers to get rid of it ...

I guess they have a special sealing for the Ramune bottles that are exported ^^...

  • That must have smelled awful. Some bottle tops are snapped on and can't be removed. Mostly the really cheap flimsy all plastic bottles. I think you're probably right, the glass bottles with unscrewable tops might not be exported.

  • The easy way I found to get rid of it is to rub the whole top off until you reach the glass. I rubbed it on concrete. I got it out in less than ten minutes.

  • nah uhm it all depends where u get it

i go to a mitsuwa mall nearby and the thing duzn't come off on those

  • This is why there are never obese japanese people.

Unless you wanna die of dehydration prepare to gather some great strength. I even heard their coca-cola bottles involve fighting giant flaming dragons.

  • he sounds kinda like JD from scrubs

  • Kawaii desu.

  • its soo hard to take marbles out of ramune bottles

  • watch what he does at 2:45

    LOL

  • Those little boys are so cute^^

  • I love ramune. It is fun to drink but I rarely get it because I have to drive for a while to get there. I like ramune candies too. I also love pocky.

  • Who doesn't love pocky :3 , Ramune and Pocky is sooo good , i eat it regullary.

  • i remember watching alot of retarded mainland chinese family trying to open this, but does it the wrong way of twisting open the top plastic bit, i wonder how many has lost their lifes.

  • I'm guessing they were watching hard gay before you made this video, what with all the crotch stuff? haha

  • i tried this drink

    it was good

but when i tried to open it it totally

exploded with fizz all over the place

  • Omi goodness, this video would have helped earlier today, me and my friend spent almost 15 minutes trying to open up a Remune lol sees how smart we were..<< theres directions on the side of the bottle =D

  • come on its common sense on how to open oneof the bottles

  • Thanks for posting! I just but a bottle of Ramune today and I couldn't open it and I seen your video so now i know how! thanks again!

  • lol ........

  • LOL

  • how are you pronouncing that? ra-mu-neh? or nah-mu-neh?

  • RA-mu-nay, but the "ra" is half way between a "ra" and a "la."

  • i went to a mitsua out here and got ramune and mushroom mountain. im excited.

  • Your kids are sooo cute is your family Japanese?

  • I WAS WORKING AT THIS BOTTLE FOR A HALF AN HOUR. then i searched how to open ramune and found your video. thank you. it's strawberrilicious.

  • lolol

  • I ordered some Ramune, It should be getting here today! Yay!

  • Yay! it just got here!

  • Oooh! So you hold it down to keep it from foaming out. Makes sense, makes sense. Okay, I've always had that problem with my Ramune in the past. It would fizz out and make me sad.

I'm always reminded of hamsters when I drink Ramune, because of the marble. It makes me smile.

I didn't know getting the marble out was so easy, I always thought you'd have to break the bottle. Neat!

  • lol when youre kid threw something at you/hit you (lol) did they say like "awesome" in japanese? *knows very little*

    and I love ramune ^_^

  • Andy said, "That's pretty neat, eh?"

  • Are there other types of lids? Cuz mine is unscrewable.. and my bottle does not look like yours ;__;

  • I have a bottle of green melon (English text on it) and mine wont unscrew either...

  • your kids are hilarious

  • Maybe you should have discussed this with your kids beforehand, haha, so you wouldn't have to be like, "Hey, stop!"

I'm quite jealous of bilingual kiddies. Lucky them~!

  • I unscrew the top.

    Works for me

  • Is it the same brand as shown in the video?

  • i cant get the CAP OFF!!!

  • ur voice is very nice :]

  • sigh...ramune...i always keep the bottles i have bottles of mogu mogu, fuze, tea and thoes coke bottles/cans fromon the bullet train. my collection also includes the random fanta bottles...^^

  • the sangaria ones are great but they dont unscrew! and breaking them sucks

  • In the UK we have a word "Codswallop" that originated from the original designer of this type of bottle (Codd-neck bottle).

wikipedia has the history under "Codswallop"

  • the way me and my friends learned was by going back inside of the asian store and asking the cashier to open it for us. We're still trying to get the marble out XD

  • The top unscrews in the opposite direction, i.e. righty-loosey, lefty-tightie.

  • That ain't the problem, I watched the video, it's the thing that the top is so tightly screwed on I'm getting rub burns from trying to unscerw it XD.

Also, I don't need to be babyfed <-< it's in the video, a 7 year old asian kid did it, I really don't need you to remind me what's on the little video above this comment.

  • yah, it is nice and easy!

Btw are your children half asian?

  • Yes, my rarely-seen wife is pure 100% Japanese. She's in two videos--the one about picking strawberries and the bug video.

  • dude ramune ROCKS!!! i kept my FIRST ramune bottle LMAO its in my room in display LOL u should voice act dude u have a very nice voice ^^

    [[:KaGoMe:]]<3

  • Me too! xD

  • x] awesome high five!

  • *virtual high fived* XD

  • I can't open my bottle to get the marble out, Lol, I'm a packrat I keep the Ramune Bottles, they are awesome lol,

  • Thank you for a splendid video. The LAMUNE was not already general drink me in a childhood in Japan. When it was summer, a festival was held in a neighborhood. A lot of stands form a line. Therefore I was given it by father well. A LAMUNE is a memory of summer for me.

  • you can unscrew the top??? lmao i deff grabbed for an empty bottle i've had for the longest time (first ramune) and tried to unscrew it.. i think it's too old though loli havent had ramune in the longest time. i'm gonna pick some up friday.. during this vid for some odd reason i jumped up and was like "omg i still have strawberry pocky" and ran downstairs to my fridge to see if it was still there lmao

  • It unscrews the opposite way, i.e. "righty loosey lefty tighty." I have no idea why. Probably some kind of safety feature.

  • I think maybe it only does that in japan...i bought some in america and it doesn't work like that.

  • how to open it u mean with the marble and pushing down on it it does work like that oi live in new york and in a F.Y.E they sold ramune the exact bottle they have in this vid and i had to open it the same way

  • haha i love ramune :D i drink it all the time, right now i got a hello kitty one in my hand XD i think mine are made different too, the blue part on mine seems a lot shorter and my hands are getting ashy from trying to open them, i think mines different :( i might have to start breaking the bottles to get the marbles, ive just been saving the bottles since i cant open them, maybe i will wedge the cap off? idk but you should introduce pocky too :D

  • I want some!!!! seems like the only way to do that is to go to japan (I googled Ramune and buy in australian web sites and got nothing (other than Ramune flavoured lollies) it sucks... AND i'm Australian we have slightly different spelling from the Americans (and other English countries) so its one of the words I have actualy spelt courectly.... dont know why I am going on about this...)

  • haha~ that was awesome! :D

  • I am very happy to say that last week I had my first bottle of Ramune. It was Melon. and was not difficult to open. Not a bad drink though. Different, but not bad.

It was weird finding that here, but a friend and I were walking through this Korean Market place in PA, and he came across it. They do sell it in a few states like NT, CA, DE to name a few. I was told by the cashier that alot of kids who are into Anime buy it all the time. So they stock up on it.

  • hahaha. nice. How exactly did he open it to get the marble out?! What's the secret? I want to know! =D
