That must have smelled awful. Some bottle tops are snapped on and can't be removed. Mostly the really cheap flimsy all plastic bottles. I think you're probably right, the glass bottles with unscrewable tops might not be exported.

The easy way I found to get rid of it is to rub the whole top off until you reach the glass. I rubbed it on concrete. I got it out in less than ten minutes.

I am very happy to say that last week I had my first bottle of Ramune. It was Melon. and was not difficult to open. Not a bad drink though. Different, but not bad.

It was weird finding that here, but a friend and I were walking through this Korean Market place in PA, and he came across it. They do sell it in a few states like NT, CA, DE to name a few. I was told by the cashier that alot of kids who are into Anime buy it all the time. So they stock up on it.
