  • Can I install windows 7 on the 20 GB ssd?

  • @Riskas132 windows 7 is 40 gigs wana have win xp?

  • @isaac9517 It is 15 GB for home premium.

  • @Riskas132 it is because it said i had 40 gigs used when I installed windows

  • @isaac9517 On Microsoft's website, it says it only uses 15 gb.

  • if my motherboard has 3 PCI-E x16 slots will the performance be tripled if i sli three GTS 450's?

  • which music is on the 5:35 which in each review i allways ear that :D

  • can i run it with i3 2100 and upgrade late to 2700k?

  • @buzz9961 yes

  • @buzz9961 easy bro if they are both LGA 1155

  • Guys Am Goin To Buy a New chippest Motherbored But Im so Confused about what to buy bettwen Gigabyte GA-Z68XP- UD3-ISSD-B3 or ASUS Sabertooth P67 .. please help !

  • Comment removed

  • @DaviedDedo91 you cant overclock on h61 and p67 boards .. p67 can overclock a lil but not the gpu . and the h61 cant do shit .. z68 is the way to go if your looking for performance

  • is there any way to change on board ssd drive ...

  • what is the difference between this mother board and the z68xp-ud3 that is not 'issd'

  • @rolandFTW000 There is no difference, the normal z68xp-ud3 just has not Intel 311 20 GB SSD. But you can buy it separatly or install any other mSATA-SDD.

  • Info provided here is not very good. Customers from Newegg are complaining about unstable Intel SSD caching technology, moreover its far cheaper to buy good Z68 board and higher capacity and better performance SSD - which together can also be putted in same caching setup. No mention about board not having UEFI, position of memory slots can be problematic with a lot of highend cooling systems, and even tests here show an inferior performance to other Z68 boards etc.

  • I hate the gigabyte baby blue colour scheme. I cant find a video card that looks good with it. I think all motherboards should be either black, red, green, or dark blue like the Asus type.

  • What does this guy know about Motherboards or computer? He looks like he should be running a sodomy dungeon not giving technology advice.

  • @Armornone Apparently he knows more than you. Contribute, rather than shooting useless comments.

  • @xbeforea Its not a uneless comment, its an honest evaluation. This guy look like he should be running a sodomy chamber and I would not let this guy anywhere near my tech.

  • @Armornone Well, you questioned his knowledge, while this video is very informative. Review and test results in 8 minutes. Have you commented before watching the review? I agree that he may look like Gorim's brother :) but he provides usefull information and does it better than many reviewers on youtube. No hard feelings, but your question pissed me off.

  • @xbeforea I actually purchased this motherboard. It does not have USB 3.0 support rather 3X power. It works fine for everything else. Tech reviews should have a certain look to them. This guy just creeps me out.

  • little gotcha that isn't clear until you buy and try ... +3tb (efi gpt partition boot) support or issd cache support not both ... for efi gpt partition windows install / boot you must set pch sata control mode to achi not raid xhd ... therefore windows gpt boot and issd caching are mutually exclusive ...

  • Ook.. i need help with some think. i have a crossfire ready pc and i have got a ATI Radeon 6850 1028MB GDDR5 card. i want to get a 2nd card so i can crossfire them.. will i see any performance in my games if i do get a 2nd card or will it be the same performance as one card ?

i have a Asus M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 880G Socket AM3 ONboard 128MB Memory Crossfirex DVI VGA HDMI Out ATX Motherboard

    thx amy :) xx

  • @Amy01223 Some games support crossfire better and others. Approximately 50% increase of performance. In some games it can be almost 100% increase of performance. (I'm not an expert)

  • I've got a question, help if you can please. I am looking into buying this board but NOT the iSSD, only z68XP-UD3 version ($150) for my i5 2500k. I will get an SSD for OS and some games and a Spinpoint F3 1TB. I understand that the SSD is SATA 3 so it will be plugged into the grey SATA 3 port, correct? Where do I plug the Spinpoint F3 1TB? I will install the Spinpoint F3 1TB later once I have the money for it, it will be for storage - I won't RAID. Thank you for your video / help.

  • Comment removed

  • @xzystence , it is under 200 dollars .

  • @manandblack2 I got mine without the SSD from microcenter for 114

  • Loved the review :). Keep up the awesome work. I will sub.

  • Dios le da peine al que no tiene pelo !!!

Cuando va a hacer un review como la gente y lo peor es que sigo viendolo y esperando a que mejore !

  • What song is that? Please reply

  • I've just bought one but haven't mounted it (also bought i5-2500K).

But my initial C: drive is not Sata3 but Sata2. Will this iSSD/Smart Response also work with a Sata2 drive, or is Sata3 a must.

Appreciate an answer. Later will get a 2TB Sata3 drive.

  • The white sata ports are Z68 controller SATA 3 6GB/s also

    2 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors (SATA3_0~SATA3_1) supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices

    4 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors (SATA2_2~SATA2_5) supporting up to 4 SATA 3Gb/s devices

    2 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors (GSATA3_6, GSATA3_7) supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices

  • When are the bulldozers suppose to release and also when is ivy bridge supposed to release?

  • Wait,i have found a motherboard with the same name,BUT it doesn't have the iSSD.So,are they the same?It also says it has the smart 6 technology(in the store i am looking it at right now).

  • how to activate the GIGABYTE proprietary Touch BIOS in the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3??? have bios f7 already!

    any help?

  • @motherboardsorg So I can use that 20gb SSD as my Windows boot drive right?

  • @TheMaristBoy Yep, You can use it as a bootdrive, which makes Windows/Linux/Mac OS X incredibly quick. And then attach a Normal SATA drive for you needs.

  • @Sparx936 Yes, UEFI BIOS ;)

  • Well I´m honest ,

I don´t understand all of this but

it seemed to be pretty cool :)

  • the lower slot pcie is 8x not 16x

  • Hi there, I was wondering if this motherboard model (G-B Z68XP-UD3) with this graphic card- Galaxy HIS 1GB 4670. I need to know because I'm about to buy this motherboard and need a graphic card to go with it. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

  • Can we get some links to the music you use in the benchies? I know it's probably your band. But can you put links up to the instrumental versions?

  • Can you change the SLC SSD? (for more storage if that helps)

Can you use this mobo without a HHD?

Can you use the SLC SSD to install the OS on it only? (not speed enhancing)

  • @kogarona No,Yes,Yes Basically the SSD makes the OS run faster and not for enough storage

  • My gigabyte doesn't even detect my video card >:C

  • I have a Mac lol

  • do you know any motherboard that is not too expensive, that can "handle" at least 1 gtx580 (2 would be good though) and one of those more expensive intel core i7 980 or whatever, one of those more expensive core i7's? Not to expensive motherboard, maybe something in the range of 150-180$ ??

  • @j4k3up gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3

  • @vinigretzky97 hey they do sell the 8gb DIMM. I guess no one know about it. Use the link below

  • @dropbear876 Newegg has 8gb DIMM I guess no one really know about that. I put link newegg(DOT)com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148436&cm_re=8gb_ram-_-20-148-436-_-Product

  • Good video man. I try to watch all your videos. When it comes to keeping myself in the know on the latest tech stuff this is where i come to.

  • @Bradyz4 shut the hell up

  • this is uuugly!! i have a window on my case so looks matter!

  • You post the results of the most popular games for the younger crowd. However, for us older guys, thousands of us are “Flight Simmers”, and we build systems, too. I would like to see the inclusion of Microsoft’s Flight Simulator FSX in future results.

  • too high better buy a 560 ti hawk >.>

  • ati thing is cuz this pcb are templates and ofc already got this painted already they will not take all to garbage haha

  • the Gigabyte says... NOTE!

  • This thing comes for more than 400$ in my country. :(

  • what keyboard do you have on desk behind you?

  • I didn't even notice ATI logo on the mobos till you pointed it out. Very interesting...

  • 5:00 what is the music please ?

  • tetris minimum requirements:

    cpu clocked at 18.7ghz

    512 bit operating system

    96 gig of ram

    direct x 26

    amd 6990x11 or gtx 590x13

  • PLEASE, how is this song called and where can I find it?

Could you benchmark the MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II with Crysis 2 with the new Patch v1.9 installed which includes the HD Textures and DirectX 11 Upgrade? Or just include it into your video-card benchmark tools and games.

8 GB DIMMs won't come out in the next years because then you would need 1 GB SD-RAM-Chips (dual rank DIMM) or even 2 GB Chips (dual rank DIMM). And they are just too expensive to produce.

  • @vinigretzky97 a DIMM can have 16x 512Mb SD-RAM-Chips, 8 on each side, :3

  • @Czyerx No! A DR-UDIMM (dual-rank unpuffered memory module), which is the maximum you can get in terms of space on non-server motherboards and processors, has two ranks that are both connected via a 64 bit bus (so 128 bits per Hz in total). Every rank consists of 4 SD-RAM-Chips and all of these chips are connected via a 16 bit bus. The maximum at the moment are 4 GB DIMMs. So you have 8 512 MB SD-RAM-Chips. For 8 GB-DIMMs you need 1 GB SD-RAM-Chips which don't exist cause they are too expensive.

  • @vinigretzky97 sure they don't exist? i kno they're expensive as hell, but...

  • @Czyerx Some exist, but as you said they're extremely expensive. But the few ones that exist are Server-DIMMs that won't work on normal motherboards. For example sometimes they require ECC or have more than 2 ranks or they are not unpuffered.....

  • @vinigretzky97 as i thought, thanks for the info ;)

  • can you review the new 6870 x2

  • Hey there Elric! You nailed it! If we take off the price of the SSD, we have a ~130$ mobo. And it kinda showed in the results. Not even mentioning the thing you said about the integrated SSD failure possibility. Not that it's possible, but if it happens it's a Pain In The A.. I think that a mobo has to be a firm base for your system. That is capable of delivering all the performance, and features that you demand from it to perform. And this mobo lacks in performance compared to the other ones.

  • when will the 8GB sticks of RAM be widely available to the public?

  • @dropbear876 end of summer or beginning of autumn.

  • whats the song towards the end?

  • The only problem is that SSD drives are getting more reliable, cheaper (slightly) and larger storage every year.

When you compare all possibilities, whether it be 5400/7200/10k/SSD or Momentus hybrid drives, Smart Response isn't the best value.

The benchmarks weren't too impressive, for the people who can't afford SSD, just run your 7200 in Raid and you will get better results.

  • @S13v7n RAID 0 isn't that reliable though

  • Comment removed

  • Wouldn't you have gotten a better result if you used a 7200 hard drive instead of a 5200

  • @silvex300 No the faster the hard drive speed the less the onboard SSD does for you, its designed as a speed enhancer not true RAID performance.

  • @motherboardsorg Hi, im looking for a great Editing comp, I have checked the internet and it seems like i should use a 7200 hard drive. But everybody says that i should get a SSD if i want fast rendering.

  • @motherboardsorg how about hooking up an ssd ?? speed loss???

  • Excellent quality! What camera was used for the pictures?

  • as seen on

    طريق الجرافيك

  • APUS PLZ!!!

  • @BustedController Newegg has them. If you search there site make sure its desktop memory or else your going to buy ram that runs on servers. (they have had 8gb ram sticks for a while they even got 16gb ram sticks) newegg(DOT)com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148436&cm_re=8gb_ram-_-20-148-436-_-Product

  • I keep hearing about these 8GB RAM sticks but I have yet to see them *scratches head*

  • Boobz!

  • Newegg has the new 8gb RAM sticks for desktop computer n

  • i dont know why i dont like boards with onboard video i just look at them notice they have onboard video so i pass on to the next board its kinda wierd.

  • I dont know if you folks pay attention, but I try and really only get the BEST stuff to review, why review CRAP? Do you guys want to see junk, you barely tolerate low end products,,,,

  • @motherboardsorg elric most of the people thats watching video reviews dose it because they dont know what to take and they often only run 1gpu cheap,a i3/i5 they never oc and they only wants a mother board thats those the job and is cheap because lets face it not every one wants to pot 2-3k on there computer and only want a cheap gaming machine720p medium settings 40 fps.then we have they who wants to save on the mb to get a faster gpu/cpu whit the money.then and its maybe a computer to granma.

  • @motherboardsorg yep i love your videos alot!

  • @motherboardsorg i cant afford high end, so i would like to see what i can get for my little amount of dollars, could you revview some crap for me? like hd 1000 series or somthing jks, but u dont need the best of the best stuff

  • Comment removed

  • How can you say if a product is Best/good/okay/bad without reviewing them?

  • Seriously who still uses pci slots and the pci x1? its old as time to get rid of it methinks

  • LOL how do you bench a mobo?

  • @gumberly With A fork!!!! :-)

  • @motherboardsorg I'm waiting for LGA2011 and Keppler from Nvidia...

  • @motherboardsorg Elric, what do you do with the motherboards you keep ?

Have you just started to stack them up once everyone you know has a board they like ?

  • @gumberly

    Running benchsmarks:P

  • @Hokrollo1 No. I know what benchmarks are. But what does running a benchmark on a different Mobo prove. I understand some may be a touch quicker, but it's hardly noticeable. However, I like the idea

  • @gumberly

Yes. Well I mean if you're a gamer - screw this. This is pretty much only for showoff, not for real life (unleash you care minimal transfer difference).

  • @gumberly motherboards actually do have different performance, like sli scaling, sata performance, raid performance, and things like that

  • Yall need to do some AMD giveaways or video cards or something!!! thumbs up

  • Ill stay with my z68x ud4 :P

  • sweet. liked, favourited and referring friends

  • Wait a second. Are you saying that if that SSD fails I stand to lose all the data on the actual HDD, or multiple HDDs? This is a serious point to consider.

  • For people who can't afford an ssd this might be good but I'd rather get something with some more pci-e slots and remove the ssd on the board. I don't want to pay for features I'll never use.

  • Yes dude: we know you by now and we love you.

That's why we tune in ;-)

  • 20gb ssd is like $50 not $100 you can get 60gb for $120

  • When is the AMD bulldozer coming out?

  • @bg048 NEVER!!!

  • is it better from ga-z68x-ud7?

  • @schabadas1

    No.

  • Is it in store now?

  • I wish I had 8gig ram sticks...my sabertooth p67 can take 32gb of ram, but I can only give it 16gb...I would like to max out the ram just so I can say that I have 32gb of ram..

  • @BloodyRory lol, same here

  • My harddisk is making a sound like a animal is gonna die...What the heck is going on?

  • @TomsteurhToast you might wanna replace it

  • @TomsteurhToast it's broken. back up your data to another drive before the broken dies and you lose all your data

  • The ssd is pretty useless. I've seen the reviews for those hybrid seagate drives that combine an ssd and hdd. the performance was barely faster.

  • Your the best pc guy.

  • lol Editors choice again XD

  • 8GB sticks are gonna cost a shit ton of money -_-

  • 3:13 elric's micro rant lol

  • i have a quick question about sli/crossfire, when changing bios do i take one out and update the bios and then update the other card and then finally put them back in cfx mode, or do i just change the bios while in cfx mode and it updates both of the cards at the same time?

  • @meanOM3N im pretty sure both at the same time

  • @meanOM3N "just change the bios while in cfx mode and it updates both"

Try this first, if it doesn't work then try the other method you described. Simpler solutions tend to be the correct solutions.

  • I love the Benchmark music Bravo!!! it s excellent

  • thats cause its still ati when amd bought out ati they didnt buy the rights to put there name on all of there stuff just to let u know so yes its still ati

  • The Max IV Gene Z is a better buy.

  • 260$ for this motherboard......... im gonna buy it when the price drops to 259$ for now its too expensive

  • @frank141289 $259.99

  • @frank141289 then you're stupid

  • @frank141289 check out newegg the price is already down to 239.99$.

  • @frank141289 It's $240 on Newegg

  • ugly - nice heatsinks but don't suit mobo

pathetic pci slots - need more pci-ex16 (they're the blue ones)

phase count not good for overclocking - older mobos provide better voltage management

    decent rear IO - standard

    decent sata ports - standard

integrated ssd - good feature but placed on a mediocre board

    dual channel memory - standard

conclusion: good ssd integration. don't buy it. wait for this technology to be placed on better mobos.

  • @exonerator This motherboard will do what most people would need it for... and more with the good gigabyte technologies. Def. not a bad board, but you're right it's not top end. Plenty of phases (it's not like we need 12-24) dual card capability, great overclocking as almost and if not all gigabyte boards OC pretty well. For the price though I think it should be less than 260 though... should be like 200-240.

  • @illkillyoubitch Oh I stand corrected. Guy who stated price was wrong.

  • wait, wait, wait... what? 8gig RAM sticks?!? O.o

  • @hayharut yes they are coming out this year

  • @techonyoursix so that means the price for RAM is going to drop some more right?

  • @hayharut i guess so but 8 gig for 60 € in europe is very cheap this 60€ ram is the corsair vengeance low profile

  • @hayharut Lol and I remember when 256mb was good......

  • @hayharut

They just only want us to use 1 stick - and not use dual channel lol

  • @hayharut they will come out this year

  • @hayharut its called advances in technology.

  • very high quality audio!!

  • @motherboardsorg What the song is?

  • Can u unbox 990fx GIGABYTE UD5!! or MSI 990fx GD 80

  • UGLY motherboard! Where is my matte black?!?!

  • UGLY motherboard! Where is my matte black?!?!

  • How do you afford this stuff!!!!???

  • @TheGuessWhatTech He doesn't, he gets this stuff as review products and most of the time he has to send the items back

  • @COLDICEPro Oh, im dumb

  • Great video that board is sweet!

  • That motherboard is expensive!
