@sompret True enough. And maybe even some ghurka and maori. now that's the side I would want to be on. but what I particularly like about many turks that I have come accross is that they are usually very polite, quite folk. Not much fanfare but they are hard bastards.

I like the combined sword/bow approach (holding the sword while shooting), very interesting! Are there any historical documents or illustrations that give evidence to this method, or is this an experiment of something a Turkish archer could have done for closer ranges?
