  • I always liked Mao's idea of destroying the old world to build the new. You guys see them destroying culture. They felt that they were ridding their nation of the remnants of a bygone era, an era built on the exploitation and slavery of the people. I feel for them.

  • The people here saying what the Red Guards did to the Landlords was disgusting have not read enough history of pre-revolutionary China, the peasants were forced to give almost all of their grain to the landlords with little left for themselves - if they failed a harvest they went into debt with interest - during droughts the landlords charged for the use of wells - children were enslaved in sweatshops in the cities literally chained to work benches. They deserved everything they got.

  • 看完很难受,不想再看第二遍了,我操,死逼毛

  • Was that a church they were destrooying in the beginning? fuck em

  • the smashing art was stupid the rest was just payback for all the years of exploitation of the masses and now the few of the ruling class just cry and whine ,fucking bastards

  • It was a hell of life, but look they were so happy to be there dancing with the devil.

  • 3,000 years of culture destroyed in three years.

  • marching into people's homes, destroying their property and beating them

    my god they were horrible

  • can you post the whole movie?

  • can you post the whole movie?

  • 2:59 is that Red Guardsman wearing Converse All-Stars? what the hell?

  • @sailormouthed Renenber they make everything in china

  • Seems to me that the chinese back in the day were easily influenced on political views, while little knew what were right.. Sadly those few were beaten or killed. Those were probably the few only smart people in china back in 1945 =/

  • I have one thing to say to all the infidels that says that red guards and hitlerian youth was the same shit. 1: red guards were revolucionary students, 2: red guards were anarquist revolucionarys adn 3: hitlerian youth support corrupt leaders and red guards overtrow corrupt leaders of the party.

    GLORY TOH THE RED GUARDS.

  • This all clearly illuminates the tactics of the Left, wherever and whenever. Not just in China -- notice the "organized anarchists" in Europe who want to keep sucking on the public teat of Europe's Welfare State, all paid for by the taxpayers.

  • @greengringo2003 anrcos hate goverment and leaders like the iluminatis...

  • Deng mass migrated the youth to working factories and made money

  • Hush everyone! Dealit707 once read a book about Mao and apparently he was a terrible guy. So there!

  • This stuff was great! Anyone crying about these reactionary symbols and people destroyed are retards. Long live the GREAT PROLETARIAN CULTURAL REVOLUTION!

  • @marcelthemaoist your a fag

  • @mattortiz100 Thanks for being a fan.

  • I guess China was a very developed country before the revolution, and the communists juts messed it all up. I guess everything was perfect before the revolution and Mao fucked it all up. I guess China's people are better than during the revolutionary times, and the so called "communists' in charge are treating them all better. whats going on with your critical thinking? The world is suffering every day, whether you know it or not due to the loss of revolutionary China.

  • How come nobody noticed the male at 3:00 rocking a pair of converses?

  • @hooshangmaster lol yeah I saw that to!

  • @hooshangmaster Lol, I noticed. I was like, "... that seems kinda backward..."

  • @hooshangmaster I did! I immediately thought, "Hey, look at that vanguard of the revolution sporting decadent Western fashion!" He's due for some political re-education, critcism sessions and a lengthy term of hard labor to re-mold his thinking!

  • fuck Mao!

  • @neonaction Fuck you.

  • would anyone of you here raise hell if the video posted were that of the oppression and abuse inflicted by feudal lords and capitalists upon poor peasants and workers during pre-socialist China?

  • would anyone of you here raise hell if the video posted were that of the oppression and abuse inflicted by feudal lords and capitalists upon poor peasants and workers during pre-socialist China?

  • At 2:58

That boy was wearing westernized shoes himself

    Looks like Converse

    Did Converse exist back then?

  • To bad Sun Yat-sen died, he would've made a way better leader than Mao or Chiang.

  • "My family were capitalists, we knew we'd be a target" as the violins play in the background.

When are the violins going to be played for the way poor and working class people are being treated the world over today? Where are the documentaries about that?

  • @redhexagon You are right, there are poor and working class people in today's world who are suffering greatly. You have a computer and internet access and are better off than they are. By sympathizing with the attitude above, you are agree that::because of your class and material advantage, you should be beaten, tortured, and endure public humiliation, after which you and all your family should be carted off to a concentration camp to be worked and starved to death, and that nobody should care.

  • @chupacabrajackson

lol (concentration camp so ur a hilter fan) anyway i agree i live in usa but im chinese i go to china alot and omg when i was a child i use to think those little americans are so darn lucky they get everything but eevery since i went to china i am happy with what i got . and guys history is suppose to teach u a lesson that as once been a mistake so learn from it and dont repeat it that is all it matter

  • Well i know for a fact that after America invaded Iraq it allowed the Iraqi treasures to be destroyed, in times of revolution or unrest it is not uncommon for these things to happen. In A.D.60 Boudica destroyed London and how many times was Rome sacked?, Mao tse Tung was still a great leader even if things went wrong. "If waking a Tiger use a long stick"

  • it's hard to compare the Iraq war and the Cultural Revolution in China. but it shows some truth for us: no matter what ideaology, socialism or capitalism, democracy or dictatorship, human will commit terrible crimes. Einstein might be right: human stupidity is unlimited. However, even if we are stupid as human, I have faith in the future of ourselves, as long as we learn from the history, and never ever repeat the same mistakes, never ever.

    --a common man from China

  • as a Chinese, I think those are two different things: America attacks Iraq and Mao's cultural revolution. but both are the masterpiece of too perfect moron : Bush and Mao.

Yes, Mao did do a lot of great things, such as resisting Japs during WWII and defend our sovereignty. However, the cultural revolution is a total man-made disaster thanks to his contribution, majorly. you could not understand the suffering of Chinese at 1966 and Iraqis at today.

  • this was messed up. there was a time when the chinese were a modest people. children should never be involved in politics or religion. they do not have enough wisdom to distinguish right from wrong.

  • That's why I dont' like Mao. Thank God that Deng Xiaoping reformed the country

  • Children are young adults they can understand. I give my children as even information as i can, Christianity, Buddhism, Fascism, Maoism, as much wisdom as i can find. Mao gave the world a workable system for revolution, even now The red corridor crosses India on its way to Nepal. "The army has an indomiable spirit and is determined to vanquish all enemies and never to yield, no matter what the difficulties and hardships so long as a single man remains, He WILL fight on..." Mao tse Tung

  • the world is not your enemy. these belief systems are the only things that can make enemies of each other. any philosophy that involves the murder of others is a disease of the human race. studies have shown that children do not think the same way adults do. of course they have the ability to understand but to an extent. be careful about what you're sharing with your children.

  • @Interrogater every country have something bad germany-holocaust/ japan- wwii( i consider this as a forgot holocaust) guys u goota understand at that time of china is a very unhappy country in wwii japan did many terrible things to china. why does everyone care for the holocasut and forgot what the japanese did to the chinese even america had a bad time when the treat the colored people badly (im chinese)

  • @bloodsucker1314 Yes, you have the right kind of thinking. It can happen to anyone, no matter what they say.

  • @Interrogater No, most old people should be killed, they are the ones that fucked everything up for everyone. Long live revolutionary youth!

  • @Interrogater Ageism. Great argument.

  • @Interrogater Actually the red guards were in mayory university and secondary students.

  • Stupid bullshit? You are mentally unstable. I suggest you get some help before you implode.

  • "Children lecturing their elders"??

Id that seriousl the problem you have with The Cultural Revolution?

This is dogmatic ego cult chaos and your upset over stupid bullshit like that??

  • The insanity of Mao Zedong and his Communist revolution on full display.

Anyone who does not believe Communism is evil, should be forced to watch these films repeaedly. Young children lecturing their elders......shameful. Mao should have been hanged for this.

  • Age is not the determining factor in right vs. wrong. If your grandfather is a racist, is it wrong to correct him? The fact of the matter is that most of these people denounced during the Cultural Revolution were former landlords and capitalists that brutalized peasants, exploited workers, collaborated with the Japanese and other imperialists, and oppressed the people before 1949. Not all of them, but the majority of them deserved what they got, which is people's justice.

  • The "fact of the matter" is that you clearly don't have a grasp on what happened under Moa. I suggest that you read some more books on the true nature of the cultural revolution, and Mao.

With age come wisdom and perspective. I suggest you do less talking, more studying and clear your head of Moa's propaganda.

Peoples justice? This is nothing more than a mob of angry brainwashed youth's, out of control with the madman Mao's blessings. Shamefull.

  • @Dealit707 Typical Orientalist accusations. Asian youth as easily brainwahsed, not thinking for themselves. God forbid that people *actually* believed in a cause that did something?!

  • @Dealit707

anyone can write books bro, the only way your gonna know is if you were there yourself, not hear it from others. and i doubt anyone on youtube has actually been there, especially the ones calling either mao or chian kai shiek corrupt

  • as a Chinese, I donot agree with your dangerous idea. Those guys, even if they are evil, shouldn't be executed (well, if a man is treated like this in reality, chances are very little that he could survive) without any basic legal right. Imagine you were born in a "capitalist" family, do you deserve treatment like this? even if your father is an "evil" capilist, he should be tried carefully for his crime, instead of being "fast executed" like this.

Think about it, if you are my fellow Chinese.

  • Thank you for the post. It is sad to see so little attention directed toward the historical method of backdoor dictatorship. It's methods surround me and nobody see it. I fear for my blind generation too busy to see it's demise. What more can one expect from a country that plots against itself to be blind, deaf and mute.

  • well said.
