You might be a foster kid if your "parents" bought you over seas then brought you to the USA & forged paperwork & bypassed the law, then told you you were adopted & decided they didn't want to deal with the mess of paperwork they created and handed you over to DCF & hoped it would all go away then you ended up with no citizenship, no way to get it & became stuck in the shithole that is the American foster care system until you aged out & then THEY hoped it would all go away :take a deep breath:

I was in foster care for 8 years and aged out of the system. I graduated from a 4 year institution, have a good job, am applying to graduate school for Cognitive Psychology, and am working toward my black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. These jokes are great. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this and that people can have a sense of humor about it :) We didn't get to laugh enough as kids, but we can now!

My wife and I are going to become foster parents within the next couple months. I know that there are bad foster care situations, but we are committed to providing a loving home for some needy kids. Whoever we get will be no different than our biological kids. I hope our foster kids will turn out as good as so many of you and reunite with their biological families! (and I like using the jokes to raise awareness, sad and funny at the same time)

wow stop buggin i don't care if i was a foster kid i'm fine now... with out somebody treating me like a pay check and working around there house for there own benefit f the way you may complain you have your own 2 feet don't let them stop you from using them... worry of your own benefits things that would help you progress and don't give them an inch i mean nobody cuz they will always take a mile...

I was in foster care for six years, the reasons for it were so bullshit that the phsycologist child services hired for my dad agreed with my parents and fought againts child services. unfortunately my sister was lead to beleive that my parents dont love her. I was a foster kid for 16 years. I lived with one family for 14 years and they were amazing. I was treated as family and i the word Foster Child never was spoken. I couldn't have asked for a better life.
