I hope the magnum isn't too powerful. Everyone is jizzing over the pistol and it is going to be so fucking boring if almost everyone is using the fuckin magnum all game every game. Cause it seems to me like its a weapon you better use, or it will be used against you. Exactly like the Br. I hated that in halo 3, everyone moved the same speed so it was the same old story "Ha this guy is dead! why is he backing up....and jumping....how is it i cant catch him....oh shocker he has a br.......fuck!"

"The Cage" was actually the original version of Lockout, and was supposed to be in Halo 1 in this form. It didn't make the cut before launch, so they re-tooled it for Halo 2 as Lockout.

Bungie did improve the shotgun's range a little bit so you don't always have to throw in a beat down after you shoot from more than 2 feet away.

The little "reloading animation" you see in the beginning is racking a round into the chamber of the weapon. The shotgun pumps to put a shell into the firing chamber, you pull the magnum's top back to do the same.

Gus on the Drunk Tank put it the best: "Whah! I'm in the MLG! Whah!" MLG are so cocky. They act like what they say and want makes or breaks a game. Who cares for bloom? The fuse time on the gernade? What do you think the overall percentage of Halo players are MLG? 1%? .5%? Not hating on you, but if the MLG are going to get this technical for the gameplay, why not just go into real sports? It's better then video games and you can't complain about bloom times there.

Also, how do sports substitute for video games? I enjoy both for the competition.

Nothing against you, but after the BETA was over (something I wanted to but was unable to play) I was in a group with a bunch of MLG players just being assholes about how Reach sucked and MW2 is way better. I can't help but compare the two. NBA changed the basketball so it wouldn't have as much grip, and only a few people complained there. And I understand that, but it's a game. If you want to play something like Halo 3, play Halo 3.

There are a lot of idiots that say they're "MLG", but they're not part of the MLG community or MLG pros. The only people you can call MLG are those who frequently post on the MLG forums, MLG staff, or actual MLG pros.

Simply playing MLG does not mean you represent the MLG community.

Honestly, I like the openness of Cage. The maps that shipped when Halo 3 launched had a tendency to be more claustrophobic and/or divided. Compare Lockout to Guardian, for instance.
