Horses are a big part of our history, breeds of horses were brought to the u.s and around the world. In war, who were the ones carrying soldiers on there back? They had no say in it, they were forced to, dying when they deserved to live. Who were the ones transporting you and you family or goods across tow or to store to store? Who helped you farm and carry the machine around? Who loved you and tried to be your friend? This is how you thank them, slitting there throats and letting them suffer?
It may be hard for some people to realize what you are trying to say.....but I thank you for putting it out there! I was a large animal volunteer, and pictures on your clip are real.....they are everywhere. Unfortunately we get to same some, but not all of them. Bless you for your clip......

Thank-you SO much for making this!!! My horse was rescued fro an abusive owner and is now the love of my life. He was started to young and injured, when they forced him over a solid jump that was way too high for him, and they did nothing to care for his injury. I always feel so sorry for him, because whenever I ride him by I jump I can feel him getting ready to jump it, but it will make his injury worse if I jump him... It just makes me so mad, because he loves it, but now he can't.

Many of those horses HAD a chance, HAD a good live, but then something changed and they where disposed. This happens everyday in stables around the world. I have rescued pure-breed champions from local stables, left to die on the field. The owners do not want to spend the money to put them down, rather "free" them. This is reality of horse owners. Jumper, dressage horse, brood mare, if they are lucky they end up as school horse for kids.
I can't imagine treating any animal like this! What we need are tougher cruelty laws and penalties. All of my animals (2 guinea pigs, 2 dogs, 2 bunnies, and 1 horse) are treated like family.

My baby was a rescue horse skin and bones when we got him u should see him now beautiful great jumper (over 1.25m) and fab at dressage xc and hacking - this proves you do not have to pay thousands of pounds to get a good horse ...
yeah i understand it and it sends a really good message. the horse that i bought was not unhealthy but he was almost impossible to train (he's a 5 year old)at first so i almost gave up on him and sold him. But than God helped me and the horse relaxed and understood the rider. it ended up he was just really nervous and unconfident of himself. Now he is much better and im training him to be a jumper like my other horse who i love lots.

17, 28, 32, 1:26, They don't look that bad and 1:30 is a newborn foal they aren't supposed to be fat. Notice how happy the horse looked at 2:30. 2:33 Nothing wrong there just some lounging young horses. Theses horses probly never had what it takes to be great dressage or show jumpers but I guess they could have been some ones pet or an okay trail horse other wise get over your self this stuff happens live with it and move on.

Why do people get horses and not care for them? I live where we couldn't have horses but this sure makes me wish I could rescue all of them. My daughter has friends with horses that they uses as show horses every weekend and they are very well taken care of. she loves to visit and ride them.

My boarder didn't feed my horse and he looked like that...but them my friend and I took him somewhere else and stayed with him and he got so much better it was great.

Yeah, but then he died this Christmas Eve of a twisted gut. We think it had something to to with rolling on ice. And since he was almost 25, an operation would've been too dangerous. :(

where i volunteer...they have an indian paint pony named Slipknot who they rescued from abuse and starvation i think.hes really happy now butt isnt ridable...im just fine with that

Why do people get horses and not care for them? I live where we couldn't have horses but this sure makes me wish I could rescue all of them. My daughter has friends with horses that they uses as show horses every weekend and they are very well taken care of. she loves to visit and ride them.

Yeah!!! They dont deserve to be abused or slaughtered! Its NOT right in ANY way!!!!! It makes me sick looking at those people who enjoy abusing/slaughtering these incredible animals. Humans are practically killing this earth. Not all humans, but a lot. They're destroying rain forests, hunting for sport not food, they're abusing nature!!! >:[
