I have a question about massaging scar tissue on myself. I had lumbar fusion surgery 6 weeks ago, and the doctor said to get therapeutic massage on the scar. But it's too expensive! Is there any reason I shouldn't do it myself? (I can reach it quite easily.) Should I use cross fiber or myofascial or something else? How often and anything to avoid? Anything you can offer would help! :)
Just no deep pressure on the spine. MFR works good for breaking it up and also cross fiber friction too. Just start out slow and 3-4 times a day (just a few minutes each time). If you are really sore the next day, then use less pressure next time or not a frequent.
hi sorry for my english im from mexico, cancun, but i want ur opinion about the diabetic feet, what kind of massage is better for, and in which tipe u know, 1, 2, mellitus, and what kind of oils r the better for diabetic foot massage? im really interested in diabetic people, and in general what kind of massages r good to them? GRACIAS tks
A question about knee pain: I used to do lunges of 300lbs+, but I developed knee pain inside the knee of the rear leg (either one but more my left), so I had to stop lunges. But pain continued when i did squats so stopped that too. However get pain still if I go into kneeling poistion (before knee rests on ground) or if I do weighted leg press with weight on toes. However no pain if i bend the knee normally. Now knees are very weak. Any suggestions as to what it is and what i can do? Thanks
Thanks for all the great videos you made, it really helps an amateur like me, as well as them being REALLY relaxing!
My question is regarding warts on clients: What do I do, if I'm doing a reflexology massage and the client has plantar warts? (These are very infectious, I learned from an anatomy course I took last year). Do I wear thin gloves to protect myself from getting the virus, do I let them know why and so on? What are your personal expiriences with this?
is it odd that i feel totally relaxed and soothed just from watching you massage other people. i think its a combination of seeing you do it, while explaining what your doing. puts me in heaven my eyes get heavy, and im just way relaxed. is this common?
Hi, i am trying so hard to pass my exam for massage therapy,so i can get my license and begin working...i got my certification in 05 but it has been difficult to pass my test...any study tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man great videos, I'm up late stretching, I have had bad posture problems and have felt out of alignment overall my entire life, I;m 25 now and am starting to piece together some things related to my posture. I have seen a Chiropractor and he has helped however I know I need soft tissue work but I am not sure exactly who to go see. Is there any specific sort of postural massage. NMT? or Rolfing? I am not sure exactly who knows what about the body. I know I need help thanks! ZachMartin2@Gmail
I really love your massage videos, they're great, thanks a lot for uploading them!
I really want to get a massage myself but I am a little afraid to go in and get one, I think I really need it too, my body's always sore and my joints are noisy.
One last thing, do you have a favourite technique? Because I do just from watching your videos.
im starting massage therapy school in february. i love massage but there are 2 things i can't stop worrying about and that is: carpel tunnel syndrome and the job market for this field. i have little hands and thin wrists so im afraid i may suffer from pain over time..is there any way to avoid this or make my hands stronger? also, can u make a decent living starting fresh out of school? i don't need much to be happy just enough to get me out of the house and on my own. help

I thought I sent you a request for pictures of endangerment areas, Since I have not received a response I am not sure if you received my request.

When I'm massaging someone, my hands start to hurt after several minutes, what can I do to prevent that? Or reduce the pain?
By the way, I do crack my knuckles a lot =/

Hello, could you make a serie of videos to treat/help relief of RSI (Repetive Strain Injury) / carpal tunnel syndrome,...
And also instructions for tennis/golf/mouse elbow (tendinites)
Both (Self)-Massages & stretching exercices are welcome.
Thanks!
