    But I do my benching on a machine these days as I don't have a training partner. I use all the weight on the machine and the stack another 2-3 20 kg plates on top of that.

    As for making a video - OK I will but I need to buy a flip cam

  • well dis is is so truee .. ive been trying for the last 3 weeks ive been doing a half rep bench oress it starts all da way down and ends half way up dis way i felt my chest way more than using my shoulders and triceps .. well i was benching half or 70% of wat i use to ,, but i felt em more

  • OK I'll clarify for Kkhanh2. Any exercise to make harder - you increase the weight used.

    With bench most people use the shoulders. Less weight can be used this way as the shoulders are smaller and weaker than the pecs. By taking stress off the shoulders and onto the pecs we are able to lift more weight in this exercise and take the actual pecs to a higher potential. There are other exercises for strengthening the shoulders.

  • does squeezing my shoulder blades while benching make it easier or make it harder but also make me stronger at the asme time?

  • thats good, but id rahter not squeeze my traps together because i bench more for strength, i want to use triceps, shoulders and chest not just noe muscle, i keep it compound, good technique fro bbuilders though.

  • Yeah thats cool but I have found this to really increase what I can bench. Maybe thats my personal bone structure but I always thought the shoulders were weak in the bench and its best to focus on the pecs.
