The leafs lost 10 in a row and still won the cup that year. This years team might not lose more then 3 in row , so believe it or not they could win it this year. ......believe it!!!

@TAVARES89 Me too as back then we still had a B&W tv...didn't get a color set until 1970/71 season...the year the league switched to Home White...which IMO is much better..wish they switch back but of course its more important to sell those ugly beer league looking third jerseys. Its a shame that CBC didnt start color Archiving until 1971.

@ldhorricks I have never been able to figure out why the change? personally I liked it better when the white or light was worn at home. Do you know if there was a reason for the change?

@MegaWolfgang see above...it was for revenue of third jersey sales that the teams wear for a certain amount of home games a year...they could make a compromise and split it 50/50 home dark and home white but it means teams traveling with two sets of uniforms on road trips...

@ldhorricks Thanks I figured it had something to do with third jerseys. They could all drop those as far as I am concerned. The Habs must never ware those horrible barber pole things again.
