More or less. The original was released sometime in late '96. I was fascinated that Dilla went back that far. He was really never celebrated like Puffy, Dre, Premo or any other hot producer of that day. I believe Dillz wanted it that way. Thus, he was the TRUE underground DJ King. Just listen to the history of his music. SICK!!! This man was abnormal with it. I love Marley Marl, Premier & Pete Rock, but Dilla?? Oh boy... It's really easy to figure out who did what on Ummah tracks....whoever it says "mixed by" made the beat. True enough, Dilla did most of them joints, but not all. Production credit Ummah....check who mixed it...that's who's beat it is.
