This song makes me angry. Sure it is a great song and has very beautiful lyrics, but the reason I clicked dislike is because this should never be a Green Day song. Green Day has never been a love song band. They are about rebellion and war. This does not fit there persona. I do give them credit for trying something new, I just don't fee like this is right though.

But, the fact is this song is extracted from the album 21st century breakdown and tells the story of Christian and Gloria (who fall in love...). And while the guy is self-destructive (drugs, alcohol...), Gloria seems to be in the spirit of this song... (if I correctly understood the story ^^) :)
