Pole dance class instruction for a pole spin in Milton Keynes & Hitchin Polenastics

I have so much trouble with that move. For some reason my body just doesn't understand it and i can never get my body to go round the ole like that... Anyone have any tips to make it easier?

Please if you do, in idiot terms please, whenever I attemt to do it end up flipping around and grabbing with my knee to do a reverse knee spin lol... somehow.

@tiopepe11 I had the same problem with the corkscrew... I'm only 4'10... so I felt that maybe I just needed a longer torso... I finally got it after I learned the reverse sunwheel spin (just look it up on you tube... it's that muscular black chick that show you how)... but that spin gives you a better idea about how to push your whole body in the opposite direction.

This is one of my favorite spins--also called the corkscrew here in the US. Nice demo--looks like you have an energetic and enthusiastic group of students!

one of mine too...I like this move holding with one arm and legs split slightly or with the legs straight the best ;-D xx so many variations for a girl to choose!! My girls are a really lively lot and it makes teaching a blast and probably the best job in the world..I love it/them and my poles!!! lol Thank you xx
