7:20 Updating your Radio is NOT regular simple stuff :|

It does improve signal for the majority of users (me as well) but not everyone gets a boost.

Even though you do warn, I must say:

Ensure you are compatible before hand! This CAN brick your phone! But belongs you for fill the requirements, the likely hood of bricking is minimal. Also, do NOT pull the battery unless it is taking over 30 mins, as pulling while it is still working will brick!

SPL 1.33.2005, known as Haykuro SPL, DangerSPL, or DeathSPL, just rearranges the partitions inside your phone to give more room to large ROMs. However, DangerSPL MUST BE FLASHED OVER THE UPDATED RADIO. You NEED at least Radio 2.22.19.26i. Also, check to see whether your board is PVT or DVT. If you have a DVT Board, DO NOT FLASH DANGERSPL!

DO NOT attempt to install ENG SPL on top of this radio image.. I did and it bricked my G1. I'm unable to get to boot loader or recovery, it just sits on the tmobile G1 screen no matter what I do, even holding menu + pickup + hangup does not restart the phone. Please speak up if you have installed ENG SPL over this radio successfully as maybe it's related to some other anomaly? but do not try it just for the sake of testing my theory unless you have a G1 which you were planning to throw away!

The SPL I use is Haykuro's SPL.

You can't flash it without FIRST flashing the 2.22.19.26i radio FIRST.

Then you can flash that SPL.

Then later, you can flash the new radio. =)

You shouldn't be telling people to flash SPL like that. If you flash DeathSPL over a 2.22 radio, you will BRICK your phone. Death/HakuryoSPL has to be flashed over a 3.22 Radio. It's better to do all this in fastboot since you can flash Radio then SPL at the same time, in order.

So, I studied your video and tried flashing the previous radio, then the new one, and no luck still. I did notice that my phone does not take as long as your phone did when it got to the HTC logo screen. mine takes like 5 - 9 seconds at most...... my spl is 1.33.2005.
