After graduate school, he taught at the University of Arizona and The Ohio State. He has testified before Congress on more than three dozen occasions. Lehr has 29 books in print including “The Handbook of Environmental Science Health and Technology.” He is currently Science Dir. of the Heartland Inst., a libertarian think tank.

The more I listen to this, the harder I laugh. Lehr gets more finge with age.

It is amusing. Thank god, few people take him seriously.

I love the lie about "best fit line" for data. Considering that this clown has never crunched data in his life, its understandable that he is unfamiliar with the formulas are used for determining data trends.

Lehr reminds me of the wild-eyed conspiriacy loonies who babble about 9/11 theories.

Thanks for the spelling correction. Yes I do hate this jerk. He single handedly brought down a wonderful profssional society he was the director of by theft and fraud.

I also find it outrageous when people in the sciences say stuff just for money.

Jay is masterful at talking like he is an expert. Jay is unmployed, gets no grants and lives on a dump in Ohio. Jay has never done research and is no scientist. All he ever did was manage an association. In short, he is a lair and actor.

Its hillarious - jay just makes this crap up. BTW - Jay was thrown off the faculty of OSU for incompetence back in the 70s. I walked out of his Hydrogeology 600 course (a grad level course) as he was using USGS publication 2220 as his text book - this is a 100 page pamphlet. Jay wasted our time by talking about himself.

I know Lehr personally. First of all he is a fraud and have never worked in the field. All he has done is run an association until he was arrested for fraud and sent to federal prison - yes he is a convicted felon. Lehr is the same as Gore - just a guy who reads other peoples work, twists it to make it marketable and then works real hard to get on TV. He can BS people who are not experts. Scientists laugh at him. He is a bad joke.

his scientific arguments are flawed.

2007 and Jan 2008 being cool was because of a la nina. Temperature has risen since the la nina faded away. So his sunspot claim is rather baseless, it was the la nina, not the lack of sunspots.

The that warming stopped in 1998 is similarly taking advantage of a strong el nino in that year. And he has the balls to critise others for cherrypicking datapoints?

And his claim that 1/3 of glaciers are getting smaller, 1/3 bigger is BS
