  • Dude, no offense but, you should tune your guitar first! Or if it's tuned already, there's something weird on the sound.

  • Dude this sucks, that thing sounds like garbage!

  • As for picking a guitar up off the wall at a music store and complaining about high action, i dont expect to have all the guitars set up before i walk in the door. every player likes a different set up. that is the bonding i do when i get a guitar. remove the strings, clean it up and put fresh strings. then set it up the way i like/action first then intonation. At the store i am looking at construction and sound, not playability. Some showroom employees might not be able to do setup work.

  • @bluesmann8 I'm postive you have no clue what you're talking about.

  • sounds out of tune a little there

  • Ordered mine today it's coming tomorrow, buzzing because it's my first electric

  • Amazing sustain for "just a Chinese guitar". I'm getting one.

  • I know,... I went to a music store, I usualy go to, saw this thingy in a corner(next to bas guitars, I kinda don't imagine what a guitar sounding like that would be sitting among bas guitars), picked it up and pluged it in a fender deluxe amp. I was sceptic... it sounded great and felt amazing too.

  • Got one today, Saw it.. liked it.. picked it up.. played it....Bought it... WOW these things punch way above thier weigh,t it was a delight to hold and play. I am very happy to have this alongside my American delux strat & Les paul. It`s incredible !.........GET ONE you won`t be dissapointed.

  • I've had my CV about 3 months and I would never get rid of it. It's that good!

  • If you mean fender Standard Tele as in the Mexican Standard? If so you have to be joking. My Squier CV gets more play time than my John Mayer Sig easily.

  • Yeah, I mean the Mexican Standard. There's a lot of variation in the quality of those guitars, some I've heard and played are outstanding. You're probably right about the CV sounding better than the John Mayer sig. I don't play strats so I'll take your word for it.

  • It doesn't sound better than the John Mayer Sig, thats one of the best sounding and playing Fenders I've ever played and happened to own, but it definitely holds its own and I don't feel like its a downgrade in quality when I switch from the mayer to the CV. Im not a tele man, but to me the CV tele sounds and plays better than the standards I've played. I prefer the ALnico 3s in the CV to the ceramic in the standard, and the glossy neck and vintage tuners.

  • is that really a squire, awsome sound.

  • yeah the New Squier Classic Vibe series are made to higher specs than the Mexican Standards. They really are that good
