Real good looking truck. I got away from 4-wheelin' in the early 80's but I found a real nice 1990 Jimmy for sale so I might take the plunge. The one thing holding me back is the talk of possible $5.00 a gallon for gas.
@mrceebees14 He was doing that on purpose My old truck had an 6inch lift with 38s and it went trough the snow perfect never dog legged never did anything way better than my stock Duramax I have now
@K20wheeler it has a 6inch suspension and a 3 inch body with 39.5/15 /15 and it would only rub when we got it in a really really bad bind bt if you have only 4 in i can almost guarantee ur gunna have to cut ur fenders cuz its gunna rub idk how its not rubbing right now
@6tony61 that im nt sure on i did it all my self when my dad did it for a friend he did it for 700 that was including the lift bt that was just a suspension bt if u get it from rough country it come with instructions and there no modifications at all its a direct bolt in so u could prolly do it your self it takes about 3 hours using air tools

@GrizzlyFan1 there the factory axles bt both were rebuilt and the new 3.73 gears and a detroit trutrac was installed in the rear

That is what I don't like about big lifts and tires, it throws the truck all over the road, especially in these conditions.
Beautiful truck though.

what size lift? i have a 4inch on 38s an was thinking about puttin on my 39.5/15/16.5TSLs for the winter. Did u have to cut your fenders much?

@6tony61 yea its fairly cheap to the 6 inch was 469.95 plus tax and the body lift was 165.95 plus and we bought both off of rough country
