I was valedictorian and i felt the same way.I just didn't know how to say it.So, i said a ringy dink speech.i didn't care.I still feel the way you do.I'm in college now, and i am dying because I don't want to be here. I don't like it.I hate it too just like high school.When it comes to college,it's not for everyone but the world makes people believe a degree is the Jesus Christ of success - the only way, the only truth, and the only light.Thank u for sharing; it helped me to understand myself.

Our current college system is sapping the creative and innovative energy of young Americans, and serves as an incubating system of liberal though and organization. We need to take all federal money out of higher education, then states need to start looking at the same thing. Unless people want to become a nurse, doctor, engineer or something like that, we need to stop pushing people to college, rather towards starting businesses. Liberal Arts is from a bygone era.

thanks for speaking out i did a speech recently at my university and the kids were looking at me like something was growing off of me. They had no emotion on there faces and  wouldn't debate me. Your maddd cute keep up the good work. I live in WNY we should seriously have YAL in convention in WNY.

Hey Erica, I think the extent of public education should go to well equipped public libraries with facilities and tutors available for reading, writing and arithmetic. Homeschooling is the best. If not homeschooling, choosing a school from the free market will provide more opportunities for more people as well as adding to the development of a stronger and more dynamic cultural knowledge base, a prime building block for what America was constructed to be, a free nation.
