I much prefer the original when this song wasn't included, I miss the cute bit when Mufasa is teaching Simba how to pounce. also, what is wrong with Simba's voice in this song?!

@BeffBoots For one thing, Mufasa DOES teach Simba how to pounce, it's in the movie. Also, the original voice actor (singing actor) for Simba was too old for the role and his voice was too low for it, so . . . that's why . . .

@tomboy0614 i know he teaches him, but they cut out quite a lot of the scene in this version. also, obviously they had to get a new actor, but i dont see why they couldnt have found someone much similar to the original Simba, or just left out the song altogether. its just my opinion, i think that the original was perfect as it is, it's my favourite film, and i dont see why they needed to put in this new song in the re-released version

The stories are nothing alike on top of it.

LK's story is based on Hamlet... And Kimba's a borderline hippie. Of course, I'm speaking with a bias...

But I stand by calling Kimba gay. XD
