Yeah, pretty choreography, but that's NOT the hustle. I take ballroom dance every Monday night, taught by an award winning instructor, that's just 'Dancing with the Stars' pretty choreography, not the hustle. But, as Dennis Miller would say, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong...

He is doing a form of hustle that is probably older than you are...early hustle(see video of Nelly Cotto & Eddie Vega) was way more free form, had more movement around the floor, and was way less structured than the version I teach now...after 30 years of teaching hustle, it comes down to 3-Count/"NY" hustle...and that's all there is left. He also has a video of him and the Hustle Hall of Fame dancer Nelly Cotto performing to this same song. She is pushing 50 in the video. Prepare to be amazed.

Ahhhh, Nelly Cotto, that is my girl. I know her very well and have developed my dancing by taking notes from her, Maria Torres, Lisa Nuziella and Lourdes Jones. No one can ever match what these ladies have done, I only took this dance within my own style. This is &1,2,3 with an added twist of syncopations and play in the hustle.

This was brilliant [incredibly impressive] There were a few missteps [falling out of unison, especially in the beginning] but the way Darchi moves across that floor is absolutely, without a doubt, incredible. [Especially in heels that high!] [I'm in pure awe] Gorgeous. Beautiful lines. Graceful transitions. Classic music choice. Job well done. [Favorite!]
