@cartesiah Actually he was always like that. Remember he tried to kill Recca when he was 5 so technically he was a born killer. Kouran just made him worse by making him get rid of any emotion so pretty much one would think he doesn't care about anyone or anything except pining over a semi-dead Kurenai. I personally don't feel bad for him cause he's pretty much been a natural born killer since he was born. He had the look in his eye as if he thirsted for blood since he was 5 for crying out loud..

@YourProblem1 Not really. Actually he really cares his adoptive mother. That's why Kurei is still working for Kouran. Because Kouran put the same bomb in Kurei's mother body. Kurenai was just an example.:)

Besides, Kurei was raised by a mother full w/ her hatred toward Recca, when he was still in ninja's period. :)

Bunnygirl its because the "hime" girl can destroy the elemental weapons because of her powers so she cannot really use them because it would be destroyed... also at the end of Flame of Recca the "hime" girl destroyed all of the elemental weapons and freed the 8 dragons from their curse meaning they are free :D
