  • Why were all of the TTC CNG Buses were rebuilt?

  • They had major problems, they're weren't functioning right. It was just the 9400's that were rebuilt not the 9300's. The 9300's were from year 1990 or 1991, those are retired. The Orion VI's had the same issues

  • Why didn't they just rebuilt the TTC Orion VI CNG buses?

  • Too expensive.

  • ttc orion v ex-chg 1996

  • that.s not the 1995 bus it is 1996 bus! but no lie

  • Thats good, maybe you should work for the TTC.

  • these engines are called Cummins M11E

  • Thanks, I'll remember that.

  • Hey that does not sound like orion v but nice video.

  • Don't be fooled by busses. Not all Orion V's sound the same. The Orion V series are the 6000's, the 7000's and the 9000's, in case you don't know, I'm talking in terms of fleet numbers. Each of the series have different powertrains or engines. In the 9000 series, these busses once were CNG's as known as Compressed Natural Gas if I'm not mistaken. Due to a technical problem, these busses are powered by a different engine. I don't know whats it's called though
