Is the 'cool part' played with two 'different' guitars? (Les Paul and and a Strat, etc.).

I always thought this was a dual string (Chuck Berry type). Apparently not.

What is the model of your Marshall amp ? These days my heart beat between the Marshall and the Fender amps !!! I just don't know what to chose and I don't want to make an error that will follow me for lots of years.
