I don't know how they get a four year old to remember all that, it's amazing. I tried to teach my 5 1/2 year old son, he just doesn't have the focus. Which is to be expected

@macrobioticman Certain things are to be expected of kids, while others require knowing how they learn and absorb information. Everyone's learning path and ability is different regardless of age. My sensei has stated quite often that my 4-year-old son, who is too young to be in the class yet, does his kicks and stances better than most of the bigger kids in the class. He can lose focus too, but one be trained to focus even at that age. They learn to focus every day in school, so it is possible.
