If I'm not mistaken I believe the driver of that car got flung into the air twice, the second time was during a practice session, where after it happened, he refused to get back into the car, despite Porsche's promise that they had fixed the aerodynamic problem after the first time. And Porsche was forced to retire the car from racing, Mercedes had the same problem with one of their CLK GTRs which took off during a race and landed in the trees on the side of the track.

no mercedes clk gtr in took damage to the front which screwed the downforce plus air coming in under neath picked it up and flung it
