One of my favorite movies... for a chick flick... it was such a guy movie. Anthony Hopkins was amazing... and Brad can act... go figure... Testosterone everywhere but just real gut feelings that a father must have for his daughter (I will never know) and a man in love against the family will ( I have known all too well)... This is a under-appreciated masterpiece. I love the side characters in this two. I don't know the line for line but I can paraphrase my fav part of movie.

Dude that causes father to be moved from company: "Love is when someone knows the worst possible thing about you, and is okay with it" I don't know why but I love that, and I love that character.

okay...I loooove this movie but I'm still bothered by the illogical part of this movie...like Bill's body??...what will Susan tell her sister??...Susan did have a feeling about what the "situation"?...and how did Joe Black all of a sudden remember bits and pieces of the coffee shop??...did Bill sort of sacrifice his own incarnate so that Joe can "live" again?

The "human" Joe only last remembered the coffee shop stuff. When he was killed, he went to wherever dead people go. Death took his body. When he took Bill Parrish to the other side, he restored the human soul back into its original owner. As for the expolanations----talk to the writers, I guess.
