"We must obey God as ruler rather than men" (Acts 4:19, 5:29, 1 Corinthians 6:1-6)
Luke 22:25, which says: "The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over the people; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves ‘Benefactors.’ But you are not to be like that
P.S. To the person who claimed taxes pay for heat lights etc. only if you are on welfare you pay your own bills to corporate scum who own half of the country.
Another Christian Anarchist checking in. I'm working on educating my church and my friends on Facebook and the like. The problem is is that most Christians in America grow up as Christians and they get taught things that aren't biblical but then get trained to twist scripture to match a preconceived idea and that leads to some REALLY crazy cognitive dissonance. The government has very successfully co-opted the American church and it's truly sad. Some people are starting to wake up though.
If anarchy is all about rejecting authority, how can there be self-described anarchists who willingly submit to the authority of God and Church? And would such individuals reject an earthly authority that provides them with heat, electricity, food, roads, etc.?
Also... as far as God giving us free will to choose between good and evil... I mean, that goes back to Adam and Eve. They lived in total innocence, away from any perversion of good (evil). They disobeyed and then knew evil through the tree of knowledge. If anything, it was through disobedience of God that we can now know two roads, one leading to hell and another heaven. I don't think that's wonderful, but what I do find wonderful is God being patient and wanting us to live and repent of evil.
As a follower of Jesus, I live by the help of the Holy Spirit. Against such a thing there is no law, so why should I fear the government? Why should I have to worry about revering it so I stay out of trouble? If I live by the Spirit, then I am innocent of any true crime, whether man says I am or not. What matters is God's law; that's the only one I consider worthy of respecting.
I've come to a very anarchist mindset in my transformation. lol I didn't really understand what anarchism was about until I started researching what I believe about government, and realized that I already was becoming a bit of an anarchist. x3 Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, Jesus said. I will do that, but nothing more. The only authority over me is God, not government. [continued...]
Read Leo Tolstoy's - The Kingdom of God is within you. He answers that question directly! He says there is a conspiracy to cover up these truths. Like this country is supposedly Christian, yet we kill murders. Breaking the 6th commandment. We're supposed to turn the other cheek and forgive and love our enemies. But most, if not all, countries do the opposite of Christ's teaching. We as most, if not all, countries have a standing army, which soul purpose is to kill. There is a conspiracy.
We are becoming hypocrites daily. I'm even a hypocrite. Sinning daily. I try my best. taking my turn to burn in fire. and asking for forgiveness. We need to mind are own business or else we be come hypocritical. Judge thy self. its either go gods way or the devils way. we need to choose light or darkness even though we walk in this world of darkness. Pride and greed, lust and gluttony, wrath and sloth AND THE BIGGEST ENVY. Why can't we humble ourselves.
this fucked up ok first of all you have a santanic mind second god is a man of peace and love he would not want any body to do any bad thngs why do u thnk he kicked lucifar out of heaven becuase of hes anarchy ways. god is the person that always want to do the right thng and when adam and eve was in this world there was no such thing as sin becuase god never created EVIL CREATED SIN not GOD but he understands...we sin daily and its not our fualts thats why he will always forgive you
To further your point, when a Christian obeys the laws of the government, they are doing it out of fear and or respect of that government, not out of fear and respect of God the Father.
Motivation is eveything to God and if soneone is being a law abiding citizen to honor their nation and to stay out of jail, then they are offending God, because they are not doing it for Him.
I think you will find more christians seeking to live a life closer to the original teachings of Christ and that will lead to anarchism. It's still a word that is so wildly missunderstood that christians will look to call it something else.
Governments that want to survive and grow create laws that reflect the views of the majority population. The bigger the government the more oppressive those laws will be. This has nothing to do with religion. Religious faith and government are two different things and either can exist without the other. Many libertarian types have anarchist views and many are Christians.
hey man, i'm a christian and i have to say great video, i'm actually thinking this through myself.. i'm a lot more revolutionary i guess.. keep your thoughts coming and please mail me if you wonna ask certain stuff.. these things are meant to be thought about hard
Good point but you are thinking of Neo-con Christians and not those who believe only in what Christ says and conversely think that the government is evil.
I think it is interesting how many people are bashed now for even mentioning the word 'Jesus' and ridiculed but fail to see that their neo-con masters have brought this about.
If more 'Christians' woke up to what is happening globally and realized prophecy (i.e microchips instead of money) is happening, they'd soon become anarchists, I bet.
@JediMasterCheryl You worded that nicely. I have just found out recently there are others who pride themselves as anarchic Christians. (A) Too bad we are the minority instead of the majority, then there wouldn't be so much backlash on the Christian community, and less people would be turned off by the "neo-cons" and accept Christ into their lives. First time i broke character on a YouTube comment, but i am very passionate about this subject.

Earthly actions have earthly punishments. In the end, you wont be judged on behavior, but judged upon what you know.(Jesus)

some Christians are indeed anarchist but most, like most people everyplace, don't understand anarchism at all.
boomac62 2 years ago 2
Quite a lot of them are anarchists! Mainly when it comes to paying taxes!
AuntieDiluvian 2 years ago
@AuntieDiluvian Taxes pay for things which anarchists enjoy. Heat! Electricity! Roads! Schools! Post offices! Health care! etc., etc.
Anarchists are free to leave human society if they so wish, but that means they will have to kill their own food and make their own clothes.
