I've tried the low res and standard res versions of the eGo-C. I want to warn everyone: much like the eGo-T, plenty of vapor, but very little flavor. They are very nice looking, and well made, but the lack of flavor is too great. It's literally less than 1/4 the flavor of vaping the same juice on a ce2 or low res atty or carto. I'll stick with my ce2's until something better comes along. Unfortuately, I'm out about $35. Anyone want to buy them?
so its an atomzer than can use carts or tanks depending on screwing in that spike adapter? We've been discussing this on ECF and noone really understands what makes it different.
@crippledbazooka for some reason I hear it produces more flavor and throat hit... I just wish the new features with the battery showing when half full were put into an usb passthrough.
after more research to me it looks like just another gimmic. its the ego t atomizer in peices instead of one unit so its easier to change the heating element instead of the whole atty. and they must die or get not good working fast because these kits come with 5 replacement heating elements. T systems never worked for me so I'm jaded.
@crippledbazooka Yeah, I came across Totally Wicked's video for it. I wouldn't quite call it a gimmick. It is how you say it is, but I think the reason for turning the cone into 3 pieces is to save costs on materials, as each atomizer had to have all that cone shit around it. This should make replacement atomizers cheaper. The tank system works fine for me and my friend, just don't use more than 50% VG juice in it. I have a 510 tank on my Megalodon, and my friend just has the Ego-T.
@crippledbazooka Also apparently this new ego's battery light changes colors from white to blue when the battery power drops to 25%. It's not a totally useless gimmick. I can see some positive things coming out of it, but it does seem kinda dumb that they're bringing this out so soon after the Ego-T.
@crippledbazooka - "what makes it different", the cost of the spike adaptor alone, compared to a whole atty, and you dont throw away such a large amount of metal that you've paid for, like the complete atty.
Yes, this appears to be true, the cost of 1 new spike is $5 the price for an Ego T atty alone is 12-15$. But you can't buy just one spike, you have to buy a strip of 5 for $25.
You can get an eGo-C kit at VapeZone [.] Com
