Once again Disney provides a visually stunning cartoon. The snow and ice, in all their forms, look especially good. On the other hand Donald is a rather nasty and mean spirited piece of work here. Good old Goofy though is ever true to form. Gosh.
It´s amazing how people and society changes. At least Walt was honest and funny and direct about his beloved Donald wanting to beat the crap out of what he wanted to have as a nice warm meal. Now a days we have become such a hipocryte and ridiculous piece of non-sense that hides brutality behind "baby pengüin-loving" crap while its ok to see kids die of hunger in Africa, sexually abused in India and hundreds of dead in Middle East for nothing. Come On People!
These 30's cartoons are amazingly cool. Too bad they don't make cartoons like this anymore. But I'm totally surprised with Donald. He wants to kill penguins and he had a pet penguin of his own in the 10's!
