  • regina king dancing like somebodies grandma.she all stiff with her moves.

  • Why did he not make a video for this song?!His moves are so slick!

  • He doing the dougie at :58 - 1:00

  • This should be in a time capsule. The dancing, the wardrobe, the do....

  • king of new jack swing

  • GO BOBBY B ALWAYS WILL BE A FAN!THANKS FOR THE SHARING LOVE IT!

  • 1;14 -1-20 was clean amazing footwork this guy gots

  • This proves why back then Bobby was the man.

  • I don't care what anyone says about the man. That's exactly what he was..... THE MAN!!!! This guy back in the day puts Usher, Sisqo, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and all the others to ABSOLUTE SHAME!!! They wish they can be as good as him!!

  • BOBBY BROWN IS STILL THE KING OF STAGE!!

  • :33 to :35 he did the CATDADDY!!!!! LOL

  • This when things we're fun and everybody had a good time. No drama. Just dancing all night long. Classic music. I love you Bobby Brown. Biggest fan over fan.

  • Was this song ever released as a single?

  • bobby brown was the shit back then.an could dance his ass off.

  • the subtle moves he does that are right on beat show how he is a straight up dancer. you can tell who the people are that just learned the choreography and the ones who are natural dancers. bob was a natural.

  • Bobby could move his ass!!! King of the Stage fo' sho!!!!

  • i want to see bobby dance like that NOW...damn he could move back then.....

  • @dirtylilpig98 Just like ice cube & regina king, they were in a mutiple of movies together, the guy who plays grand-dad in the boondocks played both ice cube & regina kings father in friday.Whether u want to call it friends are w.e these ppl are long time associates who have a behind the scene bond, doesnt matter how small it is,I was just pointing out the potential bond between him & regina king. I always picked up a friendly vibe between the two wen watchin a thin line-NOW I KNOW Y.

  • @blackblackroses thanx for the info...never really paid any attention to the bond....but ppl always say most ppl thats famous have inside connections....either way i love what they do.....

  • its funny dat him & regina king years later were both in a thine line between love & hate...I guess they were friends???

  • @blackblackroses

You don't have 2 be friends in order to be in a movie with a person...lol

  • @IceManLikeGervin but that doesnt necessarily mean they werent..I was just pointing out the fact that here they were working together & then years later they are both in a thin line between love & hate this cud possibly mean they formed a friendship.Bobby brown was damn near "friends" with everybody in hollywood & kinda still is .At the time damn near all black entertainers were friends on SOME level.

  • @IceManLikeGervin Martin Lawrence & Tisha campbell were in house party & boomerang than the martin show, also the dude from house party who is in a wheel chair now was in a thin line between love & hate as well.Martin Lawrence also became friends with kid & play, tichnia arnold who played pam on martins showbecame good friends with him ,martin was the one who got her the role on everybody hates chris.People do form these types of relationships in hollywood....look at adam sandler & his movies....

  • @IceManLikeGervin infact, the only reason why bobby brown was in a thine line between love & hate is because martin lawrence casted him, they were really good friends thats why he picked him in the first place.Dont undermine the behind the scene friendship or bonds between these people.Bobby Brown was/is friends with a lot of famous people & u wouldn't even think so.Just watch being bobby brown, hes friends with a list of well known ppl & most of them are all interconnected.

  • @IceManLikeGervin These ppl use to go to "hollywood"parties back in the day.If these ppl see each other they will talk & catch up.U can even see bobby browns birthday party back in 1996 where a gang of celebrities were there. He was the man back in the day, dont get it twisted, tupac wanted to sign him with death row before he died...He also worked with Chris Rock in black panther movie & they are also friends & both of them are also friends with both martin lawrence & tichnia arnold.

  • @blackblackroses

I'm well aware that alot of these entertainers know each other I was just sayin'.lol

NE (Ronnie, Ricky, Mike, Bobby, Ralph & Johnny) ran through black & white Hollywood women back in their hey days of the late 80s & early 90s.lol

  • He was the King of New Jack and all the moves associated with it, i'll play his jams til mi dead!

  • @incognegrow same, his music just breathes new life into u,u dont even need to know how to dance but u can still get down to his music lol Bobby B doesnt need prove shyt to nobody, all true music lovers already know wut it is.King Of New Jack Swing.

  • You have to say Bobby was the king when it came to a performance... Nobody put on a better show....Thats crazy....

  • @pythondalova

    King of Stage!!lol

  • HIS DANCING WAS SO AMAZING, I WANNA SEE HIM DANCE AGAIN =[

  • Bobby Brown G.O.A.T...nobody can touch Bobby Brown when he was in his prime...i love this guy!!

  • i remember holloring untill faintin ,lmao ,loved bb brown

  • This was the birth of modern rnb, urban music. I was a child then... but good times :-)

  • Regina king!!! so cuuuuuuuuuuuuute

  • regina cant dance

  • i noticed usher took alot of his dance moves from bobby

  • Love this, Regina could have put a bit more muscle in to it though lol.

  • regina was getting it she doing all the old dance we use to do back n the day those dances was the shittttttt sighsss good times do that shit regina lol!!!

  • F-R-E-S-H!!

    227 was the sure shot!

  • Anybody know what show on Nick & Nite was this on? I couldn't remember.

  • @knansd 227 is the name of the show

  • This is one the main reasons why Bobby Brown's accomplishments should NEVER be downplayed!!!

  • this should have been released as a single

  • DAMN THAT MOVE AT 1:12 STRAIGHT UP KICKED ASS.

  • @FreddyKOPinhead Couldn't agree more...that was a killa mover at 1:12. Maj props to B. Brown.

  • All the white boys had to do was to sit there and move their hands to the music, they couldn't even do that right....*sigh*.

  • B Brown can dance

  • i'm so glad that I was a little kid during this period of r&b music. So soulful and energetic. Despite any setbacks he may have had, Bobby Brown is an r&b LEGEND and deserves his respect for that! 'Dont be Cruel' is still one of the best R&B albums ever made!

  • bob was a beast. People dont understand why I still give this dude his due. When you see him like this you remember how bad the boy was.

  • so SICK !

  • they shud have put bobby brown in the goofy movie instead on tevin campbell

  • bobby brown is slick as hell with the dancin wish i could do it like that

  • what is the one foot hop they doing at 0:35 ?

Seen it in Ne Heartbreak vid and multiple 80s vids.

  • People forget or don't know that (Don't Be Cruel) was the best selling album in '89. They forget that the Album (Don't Be Cruel) went 8 times Platinum. People don't know that (Don't Be Cruel) was the biggest selling New jack swing album until MJ's '91 Dangerous Album. Bobby also got a grammy for best Male performer in 89

  • @qubice41 Hell yea your right and it went on to go 9 times platinum. people can hate on b brown but he's still shit even now

  • @qubice41 Your right. 8 million copies in the United States ALONE!!! Worldwide, Don't Be Cruel sold about 12 million copies!!

  • @qubice41 Some people DO know, but CHOOSE to forget. Nowadays, people only look for and remember the bad about a person.

  • @QuEeNtUtT87 that is so true,I agree.

  • Wow I wish we could go back to this again. I wish this Bobby Brown was still here, oh well, he will be missed, meaning this is the Bobby Brown I will always love.

  • Young Regina King

  • I love this song!!!!

  • i miss old shows like this...where just the bestt happenin' music artist would special guest....90's <3

  • Lightskin chick was gettin down.

  • hey i remember this. this was off that tv show called 227

  • even tho bobby fucked up alot, he still holds it down, and im glad to see he is finding his way. i need to catch this mf live see if he still has those steps (:

  • @drewali7 i agree with u on that!!

  • @drewali7 I WILL HAPPILY ADMIT THAT HE WAS REALL GOOD, ITS A SHAME HE MESSED HIMSELF UP

  • @drewali7 of course he was the KING!

  • @drewali7 i am glad to admit it. bob was definitely the man - and my oh my could that boy dance.

  • @drewali7 i agree with that!!

  • @drewali7 im still tryin to get fools to RECOGNIZE THAT!!!! GOOD COMMENT HOMIE!!!

  • @drewali7 If nobody else do not want to admit it i will Bobby was king hate he fell off but 1987 thru 1990 he was top dog. Only person that was bigger was MJ.

  • This was a great song. But the dances we did back then look so silly today! lol!!

  • you know why it would look silly today because back then it was about having fun and having a good time. today it's about icegrilling each other

  • bruv wat u on this is sme slick dance moves :s

  • holy shit ive been lookn for this vid it got removed years ago thank god u postd this

  • What show was this?

  • 227

  • This nigga had moves! and Lol at Regina King Trying to dance haha

  • damn bobby. It's a shame that controversy overshadows how great he was in his prime. He was a pioneer and no matter what people may think he was hell of an entertainer and he needs to be given credit for his contributions to music. I don't know if he is the king of r&B but he definitely is the king of new jack swing.

  • bobby brown is still the best i saw him twicw in 1998 live and EVERYTIME he came on stage it was not ONE PERSON sitting down on his 45 minute set, NONE he is better than all the new people and is MORE REAL he didnt copy cat and didnt do no gimmicks just pure talent and HE IS king of r&b because prince, micheal, stevie , luther and teddy GOT PAST THAT stage, they been there done that, he took over solitifieying his precense as a innovater-says uzipolo king of decatur

  • This is why Bobby Brown is the King Of R&B.

  • Thanks for posting this. I accidentally recorded over this scene, the best scene of the show. I can't get over Bobby's agility and balance.

  • defiantly!

  • lol I remember watching 227 when that was a new episode....wow...dont make tv like that anymore

  • no he aint!!!!!!

  • and i bet you think 'allah' is??

    thats is a false god.
