who the hell is this guy. and when did you last DJ?? back in the 60's?? who r these bands he's always listening to. this guy would get boo'd off stage if he played a wedding today. U don't no shit!! except to be a tool "what a wounderful world" to dance 2?? r u bonkers?? that's a ballad. something u would listen to during dinner. And marvelous marvin what a corn'ey name. u don't get much corn'ey then that.
@djgiza86 Actually "What A Wonderful World" is a great slow song - also it really depends on the crowd you're dealing with for the evening - every crowd requires a different set of music, you wouldn't play Flo Rida for a 50th wedding anniversary or Glenn Miller at a rave :-) Also with enough planning you'll already know the bride and groom well enough to see if they're into jazz music. I think you're thinking more about club DJ's than mobile DJ's who have to cater to everyone's taste :-)
@djgiza86 I've been djing for 22 years now... and i feel when im in my 50's i'll probably be like this dude.... dont hate on Marv....i dont agree with everything he says but i got a couple good pointers from him.. word
