Soooo i just habe 1 question for anyone who thinks this documemtary and christianity is bull, how come its lasted this long? Hundreds of civilozations an their religions die off oe become conquored. But christianity has been through slavery, conquered and many othe things, but now its grown to the largest and most abundent religion in the world. Think something might be backing it up?

It's only been five hundred years since the Renaissance and three hundred years since the beginning of the Enlightenment. It's going to take a couple more centuries to get rid of the bullshit. @williamsfilms1 If God was really going to write a rulebook for sentient existence, He would have had it ingrained in the mind of every human being from birth, not had imperfect humans write it. God transcends human thought, so it is impossible to know him, as christians refuse to believe. He cannot be personified. He is all energy and existence itself. The ways in which he exists do not fall into such narrow categories as human emotions such as anger, vengefulness, and sadness.

The Bible does say that if you Judge you should us righteous Judgement, and Christians are allowed to Judge other Christians. But alot of people in Church even wont go to heaven if they don't continue in Holiness. (seperation) People need to study the doctrines. Anyone thats a mormon, jw, the word of faith movement, catholicism, these are all Christian cults. There more than these but what they all have in common is that they teach you must do something to save yourself as do all world religions. After watching each of these videos I'm left with a sense of despair. Despair that man can blame a man-made invention on the devil. Despair that those that should offer grace and pious devotion give us this video of figure pointing and worse of all undue judgment.
As a minister, I've prayed to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and never have they given me the need or reason to blame music for anything short of a headache (from loud music).
Sadly, this is often the case with many topics, to blame everything on the devil. A bit like the movie "The Waterboy" where his mother blames everything on the devil and not the person.
This whole accountability is apparently lost on many. Whereas one would say "I am responsible for my sins." another would say "I didn't do it, the devil's music made me do it."

I highly doubt when one get's into heaven they hear "The Heart of Worship" playing. Just as hell wouldn't have AC/DC roaring. It's laughable that God is sitting somewhere in heaven telling us to listen to this music, but not that music, wear these cloths but not those cloths. Those that believe that are attempting a level of control that shouldn't be done. As if someone wanted to be the middle man between Christ and my ears.
This type of focus is more akin to propaganda than teaching Christ's words. It shifts the person's eyes on something to blame rather than a one true God. Why can't anyone simply own up to their sins? By shifting the blame you are not repenting your just lying to yourself, others, and God.
I appreciate the message this film was attempting, however, calling to arms against an enemy is not Christian. Especially when that enemy isn't even attacking.
I image heavy metal as nothing more than the invention of man. Just as the atomic bomb was invented. Satan didn't rise up and tell us to build a bomb, invent heavy metal, or commit sin; people do.

I don't like to disagree with fellow Christians, but I will when it's outright slander. It's committing the sin of "the means justify the ends." Saying something evil doesn't make it so. God doesn't tell me to kill for my faith, that's old testament (ala sacrificing). He doesn't tell me to pass judgment of anyone except myself. I only answer to those three, myself, and above all Jesus and God.

This documentary isn't saying that everything is the devil or using the devil as an excuse. All the this guy is saying is that many people practice satanism as a religion and some of them happen to be singers. Also one of satanisms tenants is do what ever you want. I'd really like to see people accept what they've done - if it is sin, and own up to it rather than point fingers and what one group deems evil. Music is a sound that affects us mentally and makes us feel whatever feeling we want and we can connect with our lives. Artists with talent can send emotion through their music and tell a message with truth with them. Satan didn't influenced them and they didn't worship Satan. Even though I'm a Muslima, I agree with many things in this documentary. It has opened my eyes. I don't think all music is evil though, but I was shocked to hear about certain artists here whom even I liked until now. I had no idea what they were really about.

Lots of good points made throughout the series of videos, and the host is not a total goober. This series helped me to understand why I did not like most of the music presented. Not only does some of it reflect evil, it also just sucks. Some of these "Metal" & "Glam" bands sold their souls, but now don't have sh!t to show for it. I think the dude from Kix became a billboard washer or some menial crap job, with no ho's cheering on. Sounds like a crap deal to me.

I really liked this document...It gave me the Chance to know alot better my music and his "source" but the thing is I STILL LOVE ROCK N ROLL as much as I LOVE GOD AND JESUS CHRIST...Because I believe that God will pay attention that what we are as human beings and what we love and believe than the music that we listen

There is nothing wrong with Hard rock music like motorhead ar ac/dc as long as you dont take it seriously besides im more of a killer fan jerry lee lewis type guy or Led Zeppelen but i do agree that modern Norwegen black metal or death metal is not even music its just death to your ears. This whole documentary was a real eye-opener! Very interesting and intriguing! Of course, I am a christian myself, but struggle with a few big issues and sins. As I said before, you should be worried about Tila Tequila turning your daughters into whores, and not metal bands turning you into a satanist. If anything Metal has made me a very well ajusted person. I have never been to jail, I have no bastard young, I dont drink, and I dont do drugs. Rock and Roll does affect your life - but you don`t notice it because the process by which it affects you is slow and within a corrupt culture it is difficult to notice how really it affects you. One former member of Jim Jones cult said "People who join a cult don`t join a cult . . .they join a `Bible study group`, `Self improvement seminar`, `meditation class`". There is little difference from day-to-day in such a group but over long period of time a person changes dramatically.

@darniforgotify It really hasn't been that long. It took over a millennium to spread and only a few centuries after European saturation, it started to seriously disintegrate. It's only been five hundred years since the Renaissance and three hundred years since the beginning of the Enlightenment. It's going to take a couple more centuries to get rid of the bullshit. It will happen though. And nothing more is backing it up than was backing up Ishtar or Zeus.

Life is about learning lessons through experience, which is to say, sinning and becoming a better person from it. God transcends human thought, so it is impossible to know him, as christians refuse to believe. He cannot be personified. He is all energy and existence itself. The ways in which he exists do not fall into such narrow categories as human emotions such as anger, vengefulness, and sadness.

After watching each of these videos I'm left with a sense of despair. Despair that man can blame a man-made invention on the devil. Despair that those that should offer grace and pious devotion give us this video of figure pointing and worse of all undue judgment.
As a minister, I've prayed to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and never have they given me the need or reason to blame music for anything short of a headache (from loud music).

This type of focus is more akin to propaganda than teaching Christ's words. It shifts the person's eyes on something to blame rather than a one true God. Why can't anyone simply own up to their sins? By shifting the blame you are not repenting your just lying to yourself, others, and God.

I only answer to those three, myself, and above all Jesus and God.

I'd really like to see people accept what they've done - if it is sin, and own up to it rather than point fingers and what one group deems evil. Our entire history is based on demonizing the opposing view without bothering to understand it. It's frustrating to see so much sin-of-spin these days, or any day.

Even though I'm a Muslima, I agree with many things in this documentary. It has opened my eyes. I don't think all music is evil though, but I was shocked to hear about certain artists here whom even I liked until now. I had no idea what they were really about.

Lots of good points made throughout the series of videos, and the host is not a total goober. This series helped me to understand why I did not like most of the music presented. Not only does some of it reflect evil, it also just sucks. Some of these "Metal" & "Glam" bands sold their souls, but now don't have sh!t to show for it. I think the dude from Kix became a billboard washer or some menial crap job, with no ho's cheering on. Sounds like a crap deal to me.

I CBA to look it up, but I'm pretty sure I remember a verse in the Bible which condemns praying in public. Can't get much more public than recording yourself and selling that recording.
Anyway, as entertaining as this has been, I'm relieved it's finally over. When I first found this, I was excited that a sequel had been done, and wanted to buy it, but now, I'm not so sure I'd have the patience to sit through it. Oh, well. Maybe later. It surely has some entertainment value.

This whole documentary was a real eye-opener! Very interesting and intriguing! Of course, I am a christian myself, but struggle with a few big issues and sins. Sorry, it seems like I can't give up my rock-n-roll, at least not now. I DO want to go to HEAVEN and I truly believe that JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY to get there. I've known about backmasking, satanism in music, LaVey, Crowley for quite some time now. Used to be naive to what I thought was harmless too (e.g. Beatles; hippie movement).

Hellish: I downloaded them and burned them onto DVD. It's alright, Jesus told me I could. Told me that I shouldn't have to pay for these laughable videos. (His words, not mine) He's tired of people like you making money off of him and smearing his name. He told me that he doesn't like the fag music at the end of the video.
Jesus' favorite bands include: Judas Priest, Venom, Mercyful Fate, Black Sabbath, and Slayer. He also thinks that Stryper are a bunch of fags.

Kind of funny though how he left out all the Christian metal and Hard Rock, even back then there were quite a few (besides Stryper!!) that he could've pointed out, unless of course he was one of those that thought that all harder music was evil....
Heck, I am sort of surprised that Stryper weren't grouped in there as evil, too, for throwing bibles out the way they used to. (In his logic it owuld've been 'wasting it on deaf ears' or some other analogy like that ;)

I remember having to watch this when I was attending christian school in my youth. It helped me discover King Diamond and many other brilliant and wonderfull musiscian. I give it one thumb up for the great music with the exception of that last song and one thumb down for the self righteous dork who just wouldn't shut up.

Hey, I used to feel the same way. You also probably wouldn't want to be in heaven at the moment. I used to totally crave chaos and anarchy. That music was lame I was thinkin the same thing, but there's all kinds of awesome christian metal.
Oh and by the way, Jesus is really. It took me seeing evil to realize God is real. Pray and ask God to reveal himself to you, if your serious he will.

As I said before, you should be worried about Tila Tequila turning your daughters into whores, and not metal bands turning you into a satanist. If anything Metal has made me a very well ajusted person. I have never been to jail, I have no bastard young, I dont drink, and I dont do drugs. So it seems to me that music does not shape you into the person that you become. If that was the case I would be sacraficing babies and bathing in the blood. I can admit that sitting in my room as a depressed teenager and listening to my Kiss records made me feel better. Becuase the words of their songs made me understand that someone else in the world felt the same way I did, I wasn't weird despite what I was told at school. If I were a false convert I believe my heart and conscience would tell me. That's it.

Rock and Roll does affect your life - but you don`t notice it because the process by which it affects you is slow and within a corrupt culture it is difficult to notice how really it affects you. One former member of Jim Jones cult said "People who join a cult don`t join a cult . . .they join a `Bible study group`, `Self improvement seminar`, `meditation class`". There is little difference from day-to-day in such a group but over long period of time a person changes dramatically.

If you're going to let rock n roll affect your life in such a significant, way you've got allot deeper problems than what you hear. Many of these songs got me through some tough times in my life. Yes...satan is a good liar, I see from what I read in here. I grew up idolizing Elvis Presley, Def Leppard, Whitney Houston, Huey Lewis etc. When the Spirit of God, consumes you, you no longer want those things to consume your thoughts, and life. I used to love rock, pop, country, even alot of contemporary music, and now I must research "EVERYTHING" that I used to think was good, and look at the music that I listen to today, and see if there are hidden agendas, with what I listen to today.
